Time Warner drops FEARnet

In case you didn't already know, Time Warner has dropped FEARnet from their programming line-ups. We need your help to get it back.

Please become a fan of the official FEARnet Facebook page. We are hoping for 50,000.

Let me know if you have any questions.

Thanks everyone,

Jack (with FEARnet)

I heard about this, and it's a shame. Even though Fearnet plays mostly crap it still plays a few good movies now and again. I support getting them to bring the channel back- but can you give us a more detailed idea of your strategy? I mean seriously- do you think 50,000 people joining a Facebook page will mean ANYTHING to Time/Warner?

I have Comcast, and hopefully they won't follow suit.

I'd like to help the cause, but can you give us an idea of more concrete useful actions you're planning?

Do you know who your cable provider is? If it's Time/Warner, you can't watch a channel that's not part of their lineup.

Thanks for your responses. You're right about Time Warner - they are not easy to convince. That's why we are hoping to get 50,000 fans of Facebook to serve as our petition to the company. Similar petitions have worked to get other channels back on the air. We are hoping it works in our case.

I enjoy FEARnet quite a bit. The selection is interesting to say the least, but there are a lot of good movies on there, too! Happily, I am the type of horror fan who enjoys a bad flick from time to time, so FEARnet usually comes through in that regard...and they don't charge! Can't beat that.

Regardless of content, I think it's my duty to support a channel that specializes in horror.
Even though I have Comcast, I'll happily become a fan of FEARnet's Facebook.
