La Chute de la maison Usher/The Fall Of The House Of Usher (1928)
French silent horror based on Poe's short story. As much as I adore them I actually prefer this (only slightly) to Corman's and Decoteau's versions. Hugely atmospheric with ethereal cinematography. Fans of Corman's more well known 1960 version may find a lot to like here.
Also has anyone seen this: The Fall of the House of Usher (1966) (TV) with Denholm Elliott and Susannah York. episode part of the UK ITV series Mystery and Imagination?
