1964: The Tribute-Flying Monkey, Plymouth Nh 5/3/24

Its been almost ten years since I've seen them and just as good last night as before. It's Beatles music before the SGT PEPPER era and they have the moves, the look and the music down. Lots of classics and some good medleys like a Carl Perkins twofer ("Honey Don't/Everybody's Trying to Be My Baby"), four 12 string songs melding together and the encore four cover songs by Chuck Berry, Little Richard and Carl Perkins again.

I've always liked The Beatles, but getting older, they just seem to matter more. I LOVE the classic rock (64-84 especially) and having SIRIUS XM in the car is nice. But SO MANY of the same songs being played has all but driven Me to distraction. I find myself more and more going to Channel 18 and while I can't listen to some of the later material anymore, it's astounding how prolific and how good so much of their material still is.
