Interesting, Suzanne had never had acting classes before she got the role on Three's Company. Was on the job training.
To me Three's Company was a mixed bag... in one way it was essentially an inuendo driven raunchy comedy, at least at first, but the actors Ritter, Somers and DeWitt, and obviously some of the writers, created good empathetic characters and morality plays, and Suzanne was a big part of that. I think she got bad advice and did a form of strike during her contract to get the money she deserved, and that didn't work out for anyone. She went on to do other TV series, singer in Vegas and a writer. This is an interesting long form interview: https://interviews.televisionacademy...suzanne-somers Last edited by Sculpt; 10-20-2023 at 01:16 PM. |
