I still haven't got a blue ray player sadly. I recorded it off the horror channel and showed it to a mate who doesn't love horror as much as me but he gave Frankenhooker a huge thumbs up.
Also saw My Bloody Valentine (1980) finally with restored cut footage-which I thoroughly enjoyed and highly recommend to anyone who hasn't seen it. Avoid any cut version though obviously.

Waited years for that to come out and it certainly didn't disappoint. Great film made even better.

How much is cut from it?

Lots of impact gore shots really. Basically every death in the film was trimmed originally. Well worth checking out.

Happy Birthday To Me-saw this as a kid and it warped my innocent mind-scarred me for life against shish kebabs!-saw it again yesterday and it still blew my head off. It really whacks you across the temples.
