Really digging the new Swans record:

It doesn't disappoint in basically sounding like the soundtrack to the most horrifying apocalypse you can imagine. Great stuff; my favorite record of theirs in a while.

ARGHHHH I really need to read Pitchfork I-didn't know the Swans had a new album out already-still getting over the menacing joy of the 2010 one after their lengthy hiatus :):):)Will be ordered asap
Sessioning:
Goblin-Suspiria Soundtrack
Goblin-Contamination Soundtrack
Nick Cave and The Bad Seeds-The First Born Will Die
The Smashing Pumpkins-Adore
Dead Can Dance-Anastasis (my album of the year so far)

Yeah, they've been doing some great work since they started putting out records again. The Seer is my favorite since then, for sure.

deep mountains

sounds of nature and slow guitars leading to screaming vocals was interesting at first but then got very boring and all songs sounded similar.

isengard - Vinterskugge

three ep's i think..really like this album, weird pagan folk music and singing mixed with raw screaming vocals and guitars, the kind of un produced black metal sound i like.
