Braincandy
Another thread made me think of this. HAs anyone else seen it? By the time it came out, i had been watching The Kids in the Hall for years. i thought the movie was fucking hilarious, it was like a new Monty Python movie.
I also got a kcik out o fthe thin subtext about people anesthetizing themselves all the time. But for the most part, i got a kick out of the stupid humor. "Doctor, why is it that 'Those types' always seem attracted to me?" "Because you're gay. I know it. Your wife knows it. DOGS know it..."

Scott Thompson is awesome. I honestly think seeing him during my late teens went a long way in preventing me from developing any prejudices against homosexuals. I was raised properly, but there are a lot of things you need to figure out for yourself. He made it comfortable to nbe around someone gay, better than just "accepting" them for what they were or tolerating it.

Same here. I learned a lot of how to be like that in high-school, when you start noticing the differeances.
Hell, i was 12 or 13 before i realised that some women liked other women, and some men liked other men. before that, everything was just words that i was hearing but not paying attention to. Back on subject, i have routinely forgotten to purchase this movie every time the opportunity presented itself. unfortunately, it will have to wait at least until i have bought trainspotting.

I love Kids in the hall. I grew up with them, and when I told people I like them. I was called a faggot in Highschool.
