I hope you start feeling better soon, Newb (Ugh, I HATE shopping)


I just had an awesome idea, and I can't wait to implement it.

As I mentioned earlier, I wanted to make a gingerbread house, but without gingerbread, so maybe chocolate or shortbread...Then I started thinking about how I would transport it to my mother's, because I could definitely see the sides falling down, and everything turning into a huge mess...So, while trying to figure out how to keep the sides standing, I thought maybe I could fill the inside with something solid, then just stick the sides on.

That spawned my completely new idea

I'm making a 3 layer, red velvet cake, with cream cheese icing between every layer...It will be red and white striped...I will cut it into a perfect cube, and add a cookie roof...I will decorate the entire thing in various chocolates (M&Ms, peppermint striped Hershey Kisses, and whatever else I think of)...The white icing will make the roof snowy, and it will droop over the eaves.

I will make Holly leaves with green icing, and holly berries with red mini M&Ms...I can't wait to do this!...I will definitely post a picture...Even if it ends up looking like a horrid mess :D
