CHRONOGRL looked around her grimly. She knew who she was gunning for, and he was nowhere in sight till now. Just then, a faint smell of beer hit her nostrils and she perked up like a meat-eating predator. She sniffed the air carefully and started to walk towards her right. She moved ahead and parted the bushes to have a look-see, and came across a cave. She smiled, and peered in.

SCOUSE MAC lay on the floor, hiding himself and glaring out of the cave from time to time.

Chronogrl whistled loudly once, and yelled "GOOD BYE BLUE WOLFIE!!"

Scouse got up, all startled and surprised out of his wits. He looked around and took a few steps forward to look into the bushes. Almost immediately, Chrono nailed him.

BLAM!! BLAM!! BLAM!! BLAM!! BLAM!! BLAM!!
BLAM!! BLAM!! BLAM!! BLAM!! BLAM!! BLAM!!

The bullets thudded into Scouse's body in dancing slow motion as he was thrown back. The flesh of his body exploded into several small holes of reddened blood as he cursed his luck, grabbing at his HPs in the process.


DESPARE heard the quick and thundering rattling of the Machine Gun from behind him. He realised some of the Slayers were behind him, and looked around for a place to hide in a real hurry. But there wasn't such a place in sight, because Despare had come out to the river bank. Despare turned around, and just then a twig cracked on his left. He whirled around to the source of the sound in sheer, fearful alarm.

FORTUNATO looked back directly at him from over the barrel of the sub-Machine Gun. Despare froze for an instant, and Fortunato's fingers squeezed the trigger.

BLAM!! BLAM!! BLAM!! BLAM!! BLAM!! BLAM!!
BLAM!! BLAM!! BLAM!! BLAM!! BLAM!! BLAM!!

The impact of the bullets sent Despare reeling back, stumbling out into the river bank. Bullet after bullet ripped through his body in several places, tearing out new bloody holes all over him. He grasped at his HPs frantically and stumbled in his footing, falling face first into the river. The currents lapped at his body and he silently let himself float forward, as he got busy patching himself.


Sector C:


Despare hit a rock and came to a floating standstill. He was in terrible pain but had to fight it back. He knew he wasnt safe until he found a good hideout for himself, and slowly pulled himself out of the river.

A pair of luminiscent, light green eyes stared at him from the top of a nearby tree, and disappeared.

Despare dragged himself into the riverbank, and when he was out of the water he stopped to take a breather. But to Despare's bad luck, BWIND22 was waiting across the bushes. He had spotted Despare float down the river into his sector, and was waiting for his chance. Bwind lifted his Machine Gun, and pressed the trigger.

BLAM!! BLAM!! BLAM!! BLAM!! BLAM!! BLAM!!
BLAM!! BLAM!! BLAM!! BLAM!! BLAM!! BLAM!!

The pair of almost invisible eyes turned swiftly in Bwind's direction. Despare's body was almost ripped apart, flesh hanging loosely from some of the bullet wounds which oozed fresh blood. Despare groaned out in sheer pain, and reached for his remaining HPs weakly. He had 12 left with him, including the ones Paul had gifted, and proceeded to patch himself up fully again.

The figure up on the trees stood still for an instant, as a trio of red laser dots centered on bwind's head from behind.

THRACKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKK!!!!!

The plasma beam came hurtling through the trees. Bwind heard the shot being fired, and swung himself to one side without losing an instant. The beam caught Bwind squarely on his right shoulder, and his right arm was almost ripped out of its socket. Bwind let out a huge howl of pain, and fell down. He grabbed at his HPs, as the figure swung away from him over the trees.
