Say the end of the first movie was lame if you want but the truth is the movies with great twists well is running dry. You should all be thankful it wasn't the main character's second personality that he wasn't aware of.

It isn't that I felt the ending was lame. It just didn't feel genuine. It wasn't like it evolved as a natural part of the story, it felt like a last minute decision to shock the audience. You could practically hear someone in the background shouting "bet you didn't see
that one comin'!" :p I think that it would have truly been great if the writing had been stronger leading into that twist. Am I making sense here?
