I figured we could use a more light-hearted version of the "Gets your blood boiling" thread.


What parts from movies have made you laugh out loud, or were just very clever and you thought they were funny?


I always liked the part in trainspotting where Renton decides he is going to kick heroin and goes to Mikey Forrester, who gives him Opium suppositories. They argue a bit, and Renton finally "administers" them to himself.

Mikey says "I bet you feel better already"
Renton replies "For all the good they've donbe me, i mayas well've just shoved them up my ass." Then gives a realllly sarcastic smile.


I also like it when he announces that he is going to quit and says how he is going to do it:

Renton: the sick boy method.

Swanney: A lot of good it has done for him....

Renton: he has always been lacking in moral fiber.

Swanney: He knows a lot about Sean Connery.

Renton: Thats not a substitute.

the part in cabin fever where the hill-folk ask, why would you steal a snickers and the wise ass answers because of the nuget.

the scene in Raising Arizona where the idiot friend comes over with all the bratty kids ..

The news footage of the alien in Scary Movie 3 .. had me in tears

I still havent seen SM3 yet, but the sex scene in the first one made me literally stop breathing.

When the kid starts yelling "OHHHHH SHIIIIIT!!!!!" and then explodes, pasting the girl to the ceiling.... I just about shit myself. i still laugh just thinking about it.

It only made it worse when he started to shrivel up like a friggin' capri sun....

Ive only seen Scary Movie 3, but It was hilarious. The part where the RIng was on the screen, and a dudes but sat on it and started shitting. LOL! And the Signs rip off, when he asks how his wife is slpit in half, and pulls out all this random food. lmao

One of the funniaet parts in a movie That I can remember, is Cheech and Chong's Nice Deams
SPOILER/sort of!

Cheech is put in a straight jacket in a white room with white walls, and is going crzy, jumping all over the place screaming "MY BALLS ITCH!!!! MY BALLS ITCH!!!!!!!!!"

omg I was lauhging so hard.

The bush guy played by Jaime Kennedy in Harold and Kumar

"Fucking Treehugger!"

It always seems to be the little things that give me the biggest laughs.

The slap fight between Napolean and Kip in Napolean Dynamite had me in stitches. I love how they are just kind of tapping each other meekly, then the doorbell rings, and napolean gives kip a big "WHACK" then runs off.

That and the "can i have a button?" scene...

the funniest god damn thing in any movie in years

that and the Time Machine

Not as funny typed as when he said it, but Kip talking about what he has been doing:

"I spent the last 4 hours chatting with sweet looking honeys online. plus, you know this is only until i get a job cage fighting."

My favorite parts in Napoloen Dynamite is when Kip is trying to sell the Tupperware, he drives over it, and it snaps into pieces. he looks out the window and says "Danget!" amd then just drives away.

also it was funny when his uncle hit Napoleon in the face with the burger.

That scene in Sophie's Choice when the mother has to choose between her-

Oh, funny moments.

That scene in Anchorman when Will Ferrel says, "You are a dirty pirate hooker."

but Brick :

'you buy your clothes at the toilet store' had me howling

That entire movie's hilarious, there's just so much nonsense in it.

"I wanna.... I wanna be on you."

"PANDA WATCH!"

Jay and Silent bob strike back:

What the hell are you doing? Letting them go?

What i am doing is avoiding a pr disaster by letting this buttfucking brady bunch go!

Jay and Silent Bob Strike Back.... When Silent Bob grabs Jay and starts screaming at him. That was cathartic-ly funny.

Whoever said "Raising Arizona" is right on point. That whole fuckin' movie is histerical. "C'mon baby, we gonna go pick up daddy." Hi's two convict friends...John Goodman and that other guy.

I'll think of some more stuff.

just about everything in Dumb and Dumber made me cry laughing.

at the begining when lloyd drops mary off at the airport and drives off ''goodbye my lo'' then the airbag knocks him dead in the face.

when Harry told Lloyd he got fire

Lloyd ''man you are one pathetic loser, no offense''


When Lloyd came back home from the store
''I got robbed by a sweet old lady on a motorized cart''

When Lloyd suggest they go to Aspen

''I'm talking about a little place called Aspen''
''I don't know Lloyd, the French are assholes''

The part where he walks out of the bar and sees the news clipping of Neil Armstrong on the moon.

''no way....We landed on the moon!!!''

the mocking bird scene

the part in Hannibal when Lector is cooking Liotta's brain and he says ''mmm that smells good''

I couldn't stop laughing at that.

the 2 funniest parts in that movie for me - other than the diarreah scene of course - was the 2 guys in their rediculous tuxedos entering the benefit smashing each other with their canes ... and the snowball fight where things started out playful but HArry eventually went nuts like a psychotic uncontrollable kid ..

that was too funny when he did his Sandy Koufax impression with that last snowball.

2 words that had me in stitches for all the wrong reasons: "Pretty bird..."


Dumb and Dumber is just a classic. Lloyd's fantasy that culminates in him alsmost crashing into a semi truck reminds me of the fantasies i used to have when i was 13....


I still love shouting "Kick his ass, Sea Bass!" at inappropriate moments.

Oh, and "Harry! You're ALive! And you're a terrible shot..."

One of the funniest movie lines ever:

"All right people, I've been frozen for 30 Firckin' years, Okay? Throw me a bone... I'm the bossman... need the info...."

Mars Attacks!- "They blew up congress! Hahahahaha", best line ever.

Dr evil is easily one of the greatest comedy characters ever.

Island Of The Dead.....When the guy says "Hey...That's mine...I stole it"...And he tries to get his watch back...It's pretty funny...Guess ya gotta actually see it...

The ''zip it'' scene from Austin Powers and the ''Scotty don't'' scene.

omg yes. that was great. I didnt expect much from this film, because I am not much of a Will Ferrell fan, but however, this was great.

the fight scene in it lol.

that one reporter gets both of his arms cut off. lmao.

Beverly Hills Cop

I think there's about 3 maybe 4 times in the movie where Billy does some kinda Dirty Harry/Rambo stuff and either Tagert or Axel would say ''Billy we gotta talk''

I dont care too much for most of the movie, but the scene with Evan at the newsdesk in Bruce Almighty is one of the funniest things Ive ever seen in a movie.

Same guy that plays Brick, coincidentaly...the guy's hilarious!

Home Alone

pretty much everything in the last 20 minutes was hilarious.

Raising Arizona:

-"I found myself driving past convienience stores...that weren't on the way home"

-"My FI-ance left me."

-"He needs his dip-tet!"


Anchorman:

-"Good evening Im Ron Burgundy and this is Tit's McGee." "Tit's McGee is off tonight."

^Had me laughing for a good 2 minutes


Napolean:

-The orange throwing scene. When he falls over the fence!

-When we meet Lafawnduh.

-"Do the chickens have large talons?"

-Any scene with Kip makes me laugh.

Nobody has mentioned the cow scene from Napolean yet?

Ya knnow, the kids coming down the road in a bus...the farmer with an old cow and a rifle...Damn, I was rolling on the floor

I always repeat that word to my friend to annoy them, La fwaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaanda!

In the movie Nothing to Lose with Tim Robbins and Martin Lawrence, when he gets the spider on him and they play the song "Scatman" as he is having a seizure trying to get the spider off and he gets his feet caught on fire. It's not so much that his actions make me laugh (they do though), but Martin is like fuckin' dieing and you can tell he ain't actin. I'm laughing at him laughing to the point i thought my head was gonna blow up and i had started to pee lmao.

I have like millions of others, but that one just leaped out at me lol

that whole movie is funny as hell
