NOES 1 BluRay.
Showed a friend for the first time, he's 34 like me, and had never seen it...for an 80's kid, very sad lack of horror exposure at all - almost everything I've mentioned, he's never seen. He enjoyed it. Who wouldn't?
Great movie, still one of, if not THE best in the series.
Hadn't seen it for some time myself, so it had that time induced freshness to it as well. He really was pretty sinister in the first couple eh...

Next up we'll either go through the series with him, or maybe The Evil Dead.

Today I watched a neat 80s slasher from the great Ken W. I really appreciated thw efx by Tommy S. too. Recommended most to those who don't mind rape scenes.

GRAVEYARD DISTURBANCE 1987


A group of teens accept a bet from a "pub" owner to spend the night in a gothic crypt in order to win gold, silver and gemstones. A little lame/tame, kind of like a "tales from the crypt" deal.

I hate that, but happens. This 1 had a very memorable witch song i cant stop humming. "If your gonna be a witch, be a witch" Good song.

Today i watched old fav horror from time when cheese fun was timely. The cemetery scene very reminds much of RoTLD fims. Good makeup and laugh-alot forceful melody a bonus treat. So much fun for me and asshole roommate.

To hocrux, i am very serious about this thing.

I think he was saying that his post was meant to be taken sarcastically.

White Dog (1982)

Not only it was a brave & clear statement about & against racism but I found the WHITE DOG as a metaphor of our preconceived mind & trained hatred against so many other issues that's still troubling the world today. The ending was a real heart-breaker and not because of how it ends or what happens to that poor, cruel dog but because of how it depicts the harsh side of the reality.

I love horror/mystery storis like this one, but the VHS version on Youtube was so damn dark that I had a hard time telling what was going on lots of times in the movie and it also made me fall asleep several times. Might be the reasons why I found the story very confusing. In fact, I never figured out what the hell was going on. ::big grin::

Not a big slasher fan, but this is one of the better ones from the 80's.

Today i watched the one with DONALD Pleasance about the ancient spectres.

Today i watched one about a robot dog with a funny blue eye. It very silly and poor for all film time and i would like never to see it a second time.
