I guess I do, my tattoos are personal about my family and life, but I am planning a couple that don't really mean much

Why would you put something permanent on your body that "doesn't really mean much"?!

Because it looks cool. There's a few things I want to get that I just basically want because I think the picture is killer. Everyone seems to get on this buzz like every tattoo has to be some deep and meaningful but I don't know I'm not to worried to be honest.

Well, no, I'm not saying it HAS to mean something. That's just my own personal opinion. I have 3 tats. The only reason I don't have more is that I can never make up my mind what to get. For me, they have to mean something.

That's cool what's the meaning behind the ones you've got? (If you don't mind me asking of course :) )

Two of them are cats/cat paw prints, and the third is from when I was in Air Force Technical School, two girls that I went through basic training and tech school with got the same tat in the same spot.

And the next tat was a re-working of one that i was not fully pleased with.Its a photo of when i had just had it done and the skin was still healing,thats why i looks shiny and the skin isnt smooth,of course it is fully healed now.I need to take some new photo`s i suppose.

to the meaningfull tatts thing,i hate meaningfull tats,i hate hearing people ramble on about there tats ,there family line and shit,coz to be honest at the end of the day i dont care.
when i eventually get a tatt,which i probably wont coz im ugly enough as it is.it will be something completely meaningless and stupid and ill probably design/draw it myself

Unfortunately Yes !Its not like in any other profession youd be expecTed to know the name of the equipment they use is it ?

I have a tattoo of my daughters name on my arm which is obviously very meaningful to me but i don't go around showing it to people and talking about it. I've met some people with meaningful tattoos who just love to show them off and tell the story of their origins and blah blah blah so i get what you mean. There's this guy at work who has a tattoo for his father who passed away and he showed it to me and started talking to me about his dad and i was just thinking "That's cool and all but i didn't fucking ask you."

So yeah it can get annoying but not everyone's like that and i know people who do that just with random tattoos too.

I work in a church school as a special needs teaching assistant so have to cover Mine up .Its just something I do ,I dont however feel I have to justify them .How is having your childrens names any different to having a massive fOok off dragon if in some way it has had the significance for you to part with a substantial amount of your dosh?

I had my Reaper as a tribute to my love of horror,is you want to call it a tribute.But what the heck,it is my homage to the one industry i have loved all my life.
On my other arm i had a very old panther and snake tat,but it looked its age so i added two skulls on either side,i also had them re-done as i didnt like the way they originally turned out.
Higher up my arm i have a few small bats then i have my two girls names written in a red blood spooky style.
You could say i have one skull for each girl but that was just pure coincidence.

I need more but money is tight and so will have to wait till funds become more readily available.

I would like to have the original Universal monsters on my back,but that wont be cheap.And as you can see from my avatar i love Phantasm,and would love to have the sphere some where on my person.Maybe on my chest over my heart.Maybe.

Man I love sleeves - Think they're so hot and want more ink on my arm... did you get the sleeve done all at once? Or little by little... Part of me is regretting the quarter sleep just because I'm trying to figure out the best way to extend it with other images/patterns, you know? I don't want a whole lot of white space but I definitely want different images (different than my blue roses).

Love the Japanese style - I love water and coy/carps... Definitely something I've considered quite a few times.

I did it bit by bit.It used to be frustrating sometimes when I couldnt afford a sesh but thats the only way I could manage.

That's where I am right now - I really want to "finish" my quarter sleeve so that it wraps all the way around (I'm thinking adding an anchor and old school pin up on my bicep), but I know it'll be $$$ and I'm trying to save up for my wedding (but at the same time I want more ink for the wedding pics, you know?).
