Not that lucky, got Falcons-Panthers but since it's a blowout I think they're gonna cut to Saints-Buccs.

I got the Seattle / Green Bay game, GB's kinda pulling ahead but they have all their starters in and Seattle... doesn't. So I'm not taking it into account at all.

Well, IF this is Brett's last game I(and I'm sure alot of other people) would like it to be a win, so it might not count for anything but a win at Lambeau is the right way for him to go.

Well that's just what he got... so if him winning his last game at Lambeau is what its gonna take for me to never see his face on a football field again, I'll allow it... cuz y'know, I have some sort of power of it.

AUSTIN316426808 01-01-2006 01:08 PM

Got the last 12 minutes of the Saints-Buccs, they played hard but gonna lose...story of the entire season. However, if the Texans win today we get the first pick in the draft and it looks like Haslett's gonna stay on and Duece is coming back so next season is promising as each of the last 6 only question is will it end like the last 6.

ItsAlive75 01-01-2006 01:57 PM

So far, so good.

The game's on here(of course:( )and it's looking good, the niners are really stinking it up.

ItsAlive75 01-01-2006 02:18 PM

Well the Bears are playing their second string EVERYTHING and the Vikings are really pumped that they're winning... that's pissing me off more than the fact that the Bears are losing.

That's what happens when a team as shitty leadership and no class.

AUSTIN316426808 01-01-2006 02:46 PM

MVP- Shaun Alexander
Coach oty- Lovie Smith
Offensive poty- Shaun Alexander
Defensive poty- Brian Urlaucher/Dwight Freeney/Troy Polumalu
Offensive rookie oty- Cadillac Williams
Defensive rookie oty- Shawn Merriman

Who do you have?

AUSTIN316426808 01-01-2006 02:50 PM

Niners tied it up and David Carr looks like he's out for the game...oh well, Bush is out of the question but we'll still get Leinart so it's all good.

In related news....

YES!!! WE FUCKIN' FINALLY FIRED OUR DUMBASS COACH!!! TICE SUCKS!!!!

Next year, we'll have Matt Birk, Culpepper and Onterrio Smith back and no Coach Tice. The future's lookin' brighter already!

AUSTIN316426808 01-04-2006 09:51 PM

Well, Rose Bowl is over and I just have one thing to say...

BWAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAH AHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAH AHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA.

34 game winning streak and 1 national championship is a good run though and they get all my respect for that.(except for Pete Carrol, he can burn to death for all I care)

ItsAlive75 01-05-2006 12:29 AM

Thank... GOD! Young is a BEAST, he is a BEAST... And WOW did that game live up to the hype. Lots of fumbles but it turned out to be a great shootout.

AUSTIN316426808 01-05-2006 10:16 AM

It was just like if not better than the Miami-BC game and sure enough the last one to have the ball won.(well, to have the ball with a real shot anyway.)

I think Young should stay...He'll win the Heisman, probably another national title(if Bush and Leinart couldn't keep him away then who can?) and he'll be the first pick in the draft.

We all kept saying he looks like a physically fit Dante Culpepper. I agree, stick around, get more experience. Lock for Heisman if he comes close to duplicating this year.

majorbludd 01-05-2006 11:02 AM

nahh....he's gotta go now....a scrambling qb's gotta get paid before he gets hurt, sure it'd be nice to learn for a year and get a heisman but hed go in the top 3/4 picks right now....im jus prayin my dolphins trade picks to move up and get him or leinart.

NECRO666 01-05-2006 05:38 PM

I watch that game lastnight and Vince Young will be #1 pick then Bush and leinart. Most of us know Michale Vick is over rated but Vince Young isn't. he has the size he could pass and run. Vic Just run. Jet's might get Bush or Leinart, Texas get Bush, saints might get Young or Lions might get Young. ok my top 3 picks that might goto these teams. :D

Yeah, they can't get hurt in the NFL...

Dante Culpepper
Donovan McNabb
Michael Vick (hurts himself once or twice a season)

majorbludd 01-05-2006 09:30 PM

better they get hurt in the nfl....sos they already bought their bentleys and such....thats what i meant.

bwind22 01-05-2006 09:37 PM

I'm with MajorBludd here. Young just won the National Championship, what's left for him to accomplish? He should go pro right now.

Look at Leinart. He shoulda went pro last year and he woulda been almost a lock to go in the top 2 picks. Not so any more. Top 5 now, but not top 2. I think his decision to play that extra year in college ended up costing him some of the big money he coulda got had he entered the draft last year.

AUSTIN316426808 01-05-2006 11:17 PM

I disagree, stay in college under a great coach, step his passing up a bit more and win the Heisman.

I don't know if any of you guys saw the Heisman presentation but he was pissed that he didn't win and he wants that trophy, yeah he won a national championship but a Heisman trophy is just as big of an accomplishment.

If he stays I don't think there's any question that he'll win the Heisman and he'll probably be the first pick in the draft because he wont this year.

Leinart is still going in the top three, he won 34 straight games,a Heisman trophy and a national championship. That doesn't just go away after one game that he did very good in by the way. 6-5,225 pounds, durable, big arm, ridiculously accurate...that's what coaches and gms are looking at, not one half where he was thrown off by a good pash rush.

Bush,Leinart.....there's your top 2 unless the Texans trade out to take Furgueson but with a new coach coming in I doubt that'll happen.

bwind22 01-05-2006 11:28 PM

I really dont think Leinarts going as high as you think, but we'll see what happens.

Saints have the second pick in the draft and assuming Young comes out he and Leinart are the top 2 QBs, they aren't going to take a copy of Brooks(why they're getting rid of him in the first place is a complete and utter fucking mystery) so that leaves Leinart.

Dude Brooks sucks! If I were you I'd be thrilled to be getting rid of him! His inconsistency is a big part of the Saints rough year (That, and that Hurricane Katrina thing taking away all their home games.)

Like I said, I don't agree on Leinart going that early. Alot can happen between now and draft day and who knows if the Saints will even still have #2 pick?

Statistics don't lie, since 2000 he's been one of the top QBs in the league.

As for the draft pick unless you're talking about the Saints trading the pick they'll have it. All the pick positions of the non playoff teams are locked. I heavily doubt they'll trade the pick away and if they don't they're taking a QB.

Never understand how people can look at these bowl games and throw out everything a guys done not to mention he had a good game.

bwind22 01-06-2006 01:02 AM

I didn't even watch the Bowl game. I'm just saying his stock would have been higher had he entered the draft year as opposed to this year. I think he woulda got paid better too.

Brooks a top QB? He hasn't even had a decent year since 2003 and even then, I'd put him around the bottom of the Top 10 QBs.

Brooks hasn't ever really looked impressive to me, but after you said he was one of the QBs, I looked up his numbers from the last couple years.... Nope, still not impressive.

2005 - 13 games played, 13 TDs, 17 INTs, 222 yards/game, QB Rating of 70.0

Nothing spectacular there...

2004 - 16 games played, 21 TDs, 16 INTs, 238 yards/game, QB Rating of 79.5

Better than '05, but still pretty run of the mill numbers here...

Leinart or Young would be a step up for sure.

Don't forget their defense that gave up points on 19 straight possessions at one point... pretty bad.

I'm talking about what I've seen him do and what analist say. I keep up with stats but not like they do on the various football shows on ESPN, that's where I heard it.

AUSTIN316426808 01-06-2006 09:19 AM

I don't see how his stock has gone down but whatever, He's had just as good of a season as he did last year, as a matter of fact he's got a better QB rating than he did last year.

AUSTIN316426808 01-06-2006 09:41 AM

Firing Haslett was stupid, the man's a good coach and they never gave him the team he needed to win. For the year he did have the type of team he wanted the Saints had they're best season in franchise history.

ItsAlive75 01-07-2006 06:54 PM

I hate Tom Brady.

"We're the most disrespected team in the NFL."

??? You're an idiot, Brady. A pretty-boy idiot. Go do a credit card commercial.

NECRO666 01-08-2006 09:22 AM

The reason you hate Brady bc he keeps on winning unlike what ever team you go for. 10-0 in playoffs and still no R.E.S.P.E.C.T KNOCK,KNOCK...who's there..New England,..New England who. New England Patriots that gonna kick down your door. :D .ok that was dumb but hey where still in the game. And FREE WILLIE 4 1/2 sacks nfl recored. Again if anybody who has a shity Qb would love to have Brady and you know it so don't say he sux and is a bum. Oh yea Michale Vic is OVER-RATED. :D

I'm with IA, nobody's disrespecting the Patriots, all everybody was saying while they were struggling the first half of the season is if they put a few wins together they could be a dangerous team in the playoffs. No respect?...if anything they got too much respect for a team that was nothing short of a pathetic shell of their old self the first half of the season.

Taom 01-08-2006 02:24 PM
