SHOCKING DEVELOPMENTS!!


***BATTLE ROYALE II SPYCAM #29 LIVE FEED (1907 HRS TO 1939 HRS)***


The newly formed compound of the Diablo Slayers. All the Slayers are busy getting to know each other and freely mixing and cracking some jokes, to ease the atmosphere between them.

Zoom to a corner. Neverending sits, quietly. Obviously reminiscing about Austin and his valiant death in protecting his life. He hasnt got to terms with his new team yet, and so prefers to sit alone for now.

SCRUNCH!!

The knife buries itself deep into NE's back, making him sigh once, then groan. The knife's blade breaks off, and stays embedded in NE's back. The figure who has stabbed NE from across the wall silently curses, and disappears.

NE lets out a whining moan at Bwind, who is roaming nearby and comes running at NE's cry. Some other Slayers hurry over as Bwind pulls the broken knife blade out of NE, who bleeds silently, SLIGHTLY WOUNDED.

Bwind takes a close look at the blade. Something white gleams at the bottom corner. Bwind's eyes light up.

***BATTLE ROYALE II SPYCAM #31 LIVE FEED (2031 HRS TO 2103 HRS)***


The Diablo Slayers compound again. Neverending is propped up in his bunker, dozing off, still bleeding slightly from his open wound. Bwind stands over him, keeping watch. The rest of the Slayers have obviously headed out to dinner.

Zoom in to the left. A tall, heavily-built figure sweeps into the room noiselessly. It creeps up behind bwind quietly and whacks him on his head.

THWACK!!

Bwind's eyes bulge for an instant in surprise, then roll over as he slumps to the floor.

The figure turns towards NE, who stirs in his uneasy nap.

A wicked knife glints in the low light, which comes down in a big rush on NE's chest.

SCRUNCH!!

NE lets out a big yell of pain. The knife is pulled back, revealing a slit of red across his lower ribs which quickly starts gushing blood. Voices are heard from the outside, and the figure beats a hasty retreat from where it had come.

Several Slayers walk in at that instant, and looking at the scene ahead, run forward. Dude bends over bwind and tries to wake him up. Fortunato puts a hand on NE's chest, trying to stop the bleeding. NE groans, clutching his chest, WOUNDED, and moans in pain.

Hahaha.... that weapon is no more.... I guess the user didn't read my new sig!

LEADERBOARD UPDATE


ALL of the Diablo Slayers have turned in their entries and, needless to say, they are in the lead!!

No less than SIX Carnage Knights are yet to submit their entries!!

A little over 10 hours left till the deadline...will they be able to make it? We will find out.
