 :D

...seen the hole "Seed of Chucky"...even stupid'er than "Bride of Chucky".....the opening scene was ok but the rest was to dumb and not funny....(why did they have to make a comedy out of it ?)

Incident at Loch Ness

Brilliant movie .. highly recommended.
Unless you dont know who Werber Herzog is - in which case you may want to skip it.

In two sittings, I watched "the patriot"...Of course, I'm not sure how historically accurate the film was, but it was a pretty decent watch. Good music, authentic sets and costumes, sad, scary in parts....and some fucked up battle scenes.
I'd give it 7/10.
Enjoyable, but I won't be sitting all the way through it again anytime soon.

that one drove me crazy ..
if nothing else for the deadly accuracy the good guys had with these old rifles ...
in a fun western i dont care .. but this one seemed to be making a statement.

SLC Punk is a great movie that very few people have seen! Lillard is awesome in it!

3-Scream

The_Return 05-13-2005 08:18 PM

You put Hackers above Scream? That surprises me. I like all three myself. SLC Punk really is underrated. Many of the people I talk to seem to have never heard of it or hate it.

The Phantom of the Opera was the last movie I watched.

slasherman 05-14-2005 01:29 AM

"Hellboy"...apart from hellboy locking very stupid(red plastic and spray)..its a watchable superhero movie...more brutal killings than it usually are in a superhero movie..

_____V_____ 05-14-2005 03:56 AM

Elecktra...

Characterisation wasnt exactly Bryan Singerish...but overall the movie was good...if only there were more real fights than CGI assisted...the movie would have looked better...

Nice lip-to-lip scene between Elecktra and Typhoid...seemed like both enjoyed it...

Great to see Terence Stamp back...he takes over from half of the movie till the end...

Overall...07/10...Watchable...nice ride and value for the popcorn...

ChEEbA 05-14-2005 04:00 AM

I think they got "stick" almost right...I didn't think Stamp could work the role, but I have read the comic (well, daredevil), and...in certain ways, he nailed it.
Nice effects, not a really breathtaking film in any way.

Dreamscape. 1st time Id seen it, I thought it was pretty good. Great effects for the time. Anyone know which came 1st: this, or NOES? They both came out the same year, and if Freddy came 1st, theres a great reference to him during the train scene near the end. If this came 1st, theres a crazy conicidence during that scene....Any help?

well, tonight was a bust.

1st national treasure.
Sean Bean as a bad guy ? what a stretch.
and the comic relief asshole that i wanted to strangle ..
I could have almost enjoyed it if it wasnt for that patheticaly unfunny goof.

then, for desert .. Darkness.
what a mess ... I love when the casting is obvious from the beginning .. the dad looked NUTS in the first frame. No gradual
transformation out of that guy.
Anna P whispered every line ... Lena Olins character was unfathomable .. i hated everyone in this movie .. i hated the dialogue, the music ... everything.

what a turd.

Bound- 5/10, cool movie to watch but nothing special.

Shaft- 5/10, I liked the two villian characters and that's about it.

The Eiger Sanction- 6/10, The first half hour made me think it was going to be a little different from what it was but it was an ok movie.

_____V_____ 05-15-2005 03:17 AM

The Aviator...

original story on grand scale...

dont see what the ravin is all about though...Million Dollar Baby was better than this one...

still some nice cinematography...Howard Hughes's biographical movie...

I'm partial to anything that has Christopher Lee and Peter Cushing in it. I enjoyed it. When you watch it you'll have to let us know what you thought.

I watched National Treasure last night. Meh, it was good for mindless entertainment.

I saw Darkness when it came out. I feel the same as you urge - I wasted a perfectly good gift certificate on this movie.
