Dust Devil
I have no idea what I just watched. The story sounded great but then they had some narrator taking away all the focus and telling us about the main character rather than letting him show us himself what he was. Took away all suspense. Also could've used more effects that stuck around longer.

GINGER SNAPS (2000). Interesting premise on werewolves with some good scenes, but for sheer werewolf kick ass, I'll take DOG SOLDIERS over this. **1/2

But imagine you're a 14-17 yearold watching it. You might have a much different reaction. I think its actually good from that perspective.

If you're 14-17 year old female, then maybe.

Didn't the narrator told you what you watched? :p

I think it's a good movie.
Original, cool scenery, decent score, "unhappy" ending,...
I actually wouldn't mind seeing more similar ones.

Resident Evil Afterlife

"The Darkness" 2-3/10

This was only 1 and a half hour long? Felt like 3 hours.

The director should stick to movies about serial killers in the future.

"The Do Over" 6/10

It was nice to see another person than Sandler in the lead role for a change, even tho he came in very close second. The guy playing the tall swedish/german guy was the funniest person in the movie, not the two leads. And then there was Paula Patton who was just really, really hot.

The story was so-so and kinda lost my interest halfway through as it wasn't really going anywhere. But the ending had a refreshing serious twist which is new for a Sandler flick.

This review is simply devastating for the horror genre. At least one can look forward to Ouija 2...2016 is turning into a forgettable year.

BIG BAD WOLF 2006

If Disney made a gory werewolf movie, threw in some explicit sexual implications and an R rating..this would be it. I think.
