At least in the video that newb posted they're wearing regular clothes and not their costumes of Revolutionary War gear.

urgeok2 07-22-2009 06:34 AM

"just Like Me" is my favorite song of theirs ... years ahead of it's time :

John Hughes, the Lansing-born film director known for a string of hit teen comedies in the ‘80s, has died today from a heart attack, TMZ.com is reporting.

Hughes directed such classics as “Sixteen Candles,”“Ferris Bueller’s Day Off,” and “Home Alone.”

Since the mid-‘90s, Hughes has lived out of the public eye in Wisconsin, according to Variety.

According to TMZ, Hughes suffered the heart attack while taking a morning walk during a trip to New York City to visit family.

He was 59.

Budd Schulberg - screenwriter behind masterpieces like A Face in the Crowd and On the Waterfront - passed away yesterday from natural causes. He was 95.

RIP

Also, very sad to hear about John Hughes...I was in a stage production of Breakfast Club last year. He really was a great writer, and some of his stuff (Ferris Bueller's Day Off especially) will go down in history as some of the greatest teen movies of all time. Even though he didn't really do anything noteworth in ages, he will be missed.

As a child of the 80's, the Hughes thing kind've stings...R.I.P
Watching the breakfast club will be a little cold from now on...:(

Same with me. Damn that really sucks :( I loved his movies and The Breakfast Club is one of my all time favorite films.

R.I.P mate you'll be missed.

I'm not a total dick--it sucks that someone dies that young.

At the same time, I'm not really torn up that there is one less "celebrity DJ" in the world.

Freak 08-29-2009 02:24 AM

It's sad that he died but the dude is only famous for banging Nichole Richie.

On August 26 2009, Crazy Town performed at Les Deux, in Hollywood, California, on stage together for the first time in five years. The event was to promote their upcoming album and celebrate the late August birthdays of lead singers Mazur and Binzer.

On August 28 2009, former member Adam Goldstein was found dead in his apartment.

I thought that was a bit strange.

Just heard about that then. I loved Roadhouse and Steel Dawn but I bet the screens will be filled with Dirty Dancing and not his cooler flicks.

MovieLover12 09-14-2009 06:44 PM

Rest in Peace, Patrick. Everyone will miss you. :(
