think the image tags doesn't like the fact that the url doesn't end with an image extension (such as .jpg etc) and it therefore becomes a url

See Spot Run (again, for me)...

I know it isn't Horror...But David Arquette is great, and so is Michael Clarke Duncan...

Also watched...Shadow Of The Vampire (again, for me)....How can a movie that has John Malkovich, Willem Dafoe, and Eddie Izzard in it, suck so much?....Dustin was shocked that Eddie Izzard was in it...

(and did you see - and like - the TV series first ?)

Saw the TV series, read the book, all that good stuff. About 80% of the stuff in the movie will only be gotten by the people who've at least done that (I hear there were some album and radio show things in the movie too, and I haven't heard those). Me and one of the people I was with were cracking up during a lot of stuff and people around us didn't know why :D

Yellow Jacket 05-02-2005 04:47 PM

Some crappy Social Studies movie in Social Studies 2day. I didn't really pay attention though.

i have the books and the albums .. i haven't heard the albums in ages but they might just be the tv show soundtrack - the gags were more spoken than visual anyway ..

I just got back from........."SIN CITY"

I got one word...BRILLIANT. The wife even liked it.
I think my favorite segment was with Mickey Roarke. This movie had so much style. Its so refreshing seeing someone take a chance and finally make a decent movie, what with all the remakes coming out.

:) :) :)

newb 05-02-2005 06:43 PM

Yes.
It was good to see M.R. back in form. And a nice change for the hobbit as well.

ENTITY2000 05-02-2005 07:21 PM

i rented lemony snickets series of unforunate events,
blade trinity, and meet the fockers.
blade sucked
meet the fockers funny as hell
lemony snickets is pretty good

ChEEbA 05-02-2005 07:33 PM

Versus, yet again...
Got my surround sound (thought to be broken) rewired and fixed up by my girl who is...well, more patient with stuff like that than I.

Fucking excellent movie...very cool, great atmosphere and music, suitably over-acted badguys, very nice fight and stunt coreography, and zombies...can't complain about the zombies.
Nice gore and splatter too.
Slightly confusing storyline, but becomes a little more clear each time 'round.

f you haven't yet, see it.

Also...has anyone seen any other films by the same "Kitamura" guy?? any good?

barbra 05-02-2005 09:13 PM

I saw hitchhikers guide to the galaxy this evening. It was cute, if you're not going to see it, rent it. Of all the people polled asking if they were going to see this film, 42% said they were.

Angra 05-02-2005 10:41 PM

"Ghost system"

2-3/10

taylorsmommy 05-03-2005 04:56 AM

Watched the rest of Luther last night. Joseph Fiennes, as always, was excellent, as was Peter Ustinov and Alfred Molina. Actually the whole cast was good. I really liked this movie. Being a Lutheran, I knew a little (very little) about Martin Luther. This movie gives you the whole story of his battle with the Roman Catholic Church. The interviews in the Extras aren't much. If you're into historical movies, I suggest renting it, even if you're completely against organized religion. It shows the courage of a man who dared to defy the immense organization that was/is the Roman Catholic Church.

crazy raplh 05-03-2005 04:59 AM

clockwork orange. wasn't as good as it was hyped up to be.

local radio station has phone-ins for real stories etc, some people send in a fake snuff video tape, the radio presenter researches the video tape and finds out that it's real... she goes to the shoot location to investigate.

and it is good.
