I totally want one but then it'll be a case of "there goes the neighbourhood" But on the plus side a war with the mormans would be kinda fun (imagines the riding off on their bikes with me chasing them with a scythe). Nope that seals it I'm fucking getting one watch out motherfuckers.

the only problem is that you get only one good swing so you have to hit your mark.... you have to draw it back in a wide arc for the second shot which leave you vulnerable ..

same problem with an axe or a baseball bat.

it's nice to have the range but speed is essential as well.
I kind of like the tire iron myself.

Elvis_Christ 04-28-2005 06:28 PM

A Tire Iron would be good but you kinda have to get too close for your attack which could cause a problem. But if you look crazier than a shithouse rat you shouldn't have any problems.

thats exactly how i look before i wash my hair in the morning ...

Elvis_Christ 04-29-2005 07:40 AM

I think I scare people walking down the street quite often especially in a hick town like the one my parents live. I can't wait to get back home tomorrow.

Blade Trinity

It sucked. When HHH is the best actor in a movie, we have a problem. I couldn't really find anything to like about this one. Another good franchise down in flames. (Okay, okay...Another decent franchise down in flames.)

D-

I'm gonna go watch Lemony Snicket's Series of Unfortunate Events right now. I'll let you know what I think.

That was one of the funniest comedys I've seen in years!

"You got like three feet of air that time."

Angra 04-30-2005 07:29 AM

"Ghosthouse"

Loved the idea, but the movie wasnīt good and the actors were terrible, except maybe for the guy who plays the leading role.
But the guy who gets his throat cut by a flying blade might be one of the worst actors iīve ever seen. Bravo!

The characters acts woderfully stupid. Like the woman who discovers some dead rats hanging on a string and then starts to scream at them for what seems to be 20 seconds or so. Seriously, who would do that in real life?? I know what your answer is....... WHO GIVES A FUCK!!?
Well anyhow, that scene would have made me laugh myself to tears if the sound of her screaming just wasnīt so god damn annoying.

1 detail that i really loved though, was that childs voice everytime the "scary" melody starts. It sounded wonderfully weird and creepy.

all in all an entertaining B-movie that is so bad that itīs actually enjoyable. 4/10

Memento, still the 5th best movie ever

urgeok 04-30-2005 08:31 PM

I Spit On Your Grave ... for the 1st time since the grainy old dub i got before it was available anywhere ..

i was suprised at how non-exploitive the movie actually was.
The rapes weren't exploitive .. the camera didnt linger on her body.
She was never allowed to look sexy or attractive until she was in control.

The acting was pretty decent for a bunch of people who never did anything else before or since.

The revenge scenes were the only exploitive part of the movie ..

I think it was the idiots in the audiences that gave this film a bad name. Every time you go to a horror film there is always a few posturing adolescent boys yelling stupid shit at the screen ..
Like when a girl is being killed or raped they yell shit to show their bravado .. their little shock value garbage ..

i think this happened a lot when ISOYG was in the theatres .. and it got a bad name in part for the audience bullshit ..
