Watch what? I went back a page, but didn't see what you might be referring to.

By the way, not to sound "jaded", but presidents (especially 90's to today) are very much like Trump, hardcore businessmen.

Just curious... why would you kill a Black Widow (BW) & its egg sack in an animal's borrow?

I can tell you confidently, the BW was no real threat to any badgers... as the spiders don't hunt badgers (but a badger might eat the spider if it saw it), and even if the BW went "postal", it can't bite through that fur.

And if you were concerned the BW would make the journal to human' environments, I should note: No one in the U.S. has died from a black widow spider bite in over 10 years (per webMD.com). BWs aren't aggressive, they flee, like 95% of species. You'd pretty much have to physically squeeze a BW to get it to bite you, & then there's antidotes in most ERs -- most importantly venom is not likely to be life-threatening, antivenom has been used as pain relief and not to save lives.

Spiders kill deadly disease carrying mosquitoes, roaches flies (and clothes moths). Really, you're making humans less safe killing spiders. Spiders will rid houses of those pests, if left alone.

::wink::

Zup Sculpt?
Black Widows are a native species here....They are only aggressive when defendin' an egg sack...They are very conspicuous and would be picked off by a bird quick, so they kick it on the d-low. Most times when I come across 'em they try ta camoflauge by bein' still or they quickly hide.
I'd say that I'm an armchair naturalist....Been cataloggin' the flowers and fauna here fer some time....I've observed that fer all livin' here, some years boom and some years lull....I love spiders.....let barn spiders winter over in the windows here...those little zebra jumpin' spiders are my Fav!
Black Widows are just not welcome so close to the house is all.

Just this Spring I saw my first juvenile B/W at this spot down by the river...They're all green and stripey. when they're young, the turn black and shiny when they mature..didn't kill that one.
It's not 'bout a badger gettin' hurt, It's the price and availabilty of anti-venom,as well as the sufferin'.
Ever see a B/W egg sack? It's a sickly yellow color and kinda papery not all webby like others. Besides the best way to get rid of a spider is just knock down their web and they'll move on.

Dead Bad Things 06-20-2015 07:44 PM

I think it was in 2007 I encountered and killed like 12-14 of 'em....

Hannibal will end after season 3. I'm not ok. I will continue to not be ok until season 4 is announced. What is life anymore
[EDIT]
Bryan Fuller tweeted that hannibal is still coming to San Diego comic con, so it might not be the end.

Do we have a horror related humor topic? If not we really do need one

horcrux2007 06-24-2015 04:27 AM

I'll just leave this here

hammerfan 06-24-2015 04:50 AM

Hmm, looks pretty good. I'll skip the 3D, though.

horcrux2007 06-24-2015 07:13 AM

Jason Blum said it was the last one and that it'll answer all the big questions fans have had. Idk if The Marked Ones is considered a part of the main series now and not just a spin-off. I guess this will answer that too... it looks good and quiet a bit different than the other 4.

Looks more like a horror movie than any of the last. Im actually a little excited about it. Even though I really didn't like the last three.

I enjoyed The Marked Ones and PA 4. I must be the only person that legitimately liked the fourth one lol. I'm a sucker for PA movies.

It looks cool and I have watched all the other ones so I'll watch this one too.

I liked the last two also, which most people didn't like. Oh well, to each their own ::cool::

Roiffalo 06-25-2015 12:36 PM

I've never even seen any of the PA films... Having never been surrounded by horror fans I kept hearing negative reviews on it. "Too much like 'Blair Witch', and that film sucked blah blah blah"

They're slow movies. Not everyone likes them, and it gets a lot of hate from people who want constant scares or gore. If you're fine with a slow movie, definitely watch it. The build-up is worth it.

At least watch the first and try the rest. The long term story line lacks but I have found if you ignore the attempt to make connections between the films its a little easier to enjoy them each as stand alone films. I don't mind the slow speed, its just the constantly regurgitated jump scares that got to me. After the first handful I find myself anticipating the jump scares and then I catch them coming and it ruins it for me.

Here's the opening scene to Scream. What do you guys think of it?

Roiffalo 06-26-2015 01:53 AM

^ I'm torn. Hate the mask. Predictable. And it's on Mtv? I don't... okay then. Buuuuut. For the same reason I enjoy the Scream movies, I enjoy senseless murder and there's always the big 'who dun it' that grabs you and pulls you in. I'd at least try an episode or two probably.

-

Thanks, guys. I'll likely give PA a try. I've wanted to at least try watching the first one. Especially if it's on Netflix. I've seen at least one or two but I don't know if they have all or even the first..

Yeah I'm not too sure about it either. I was expecting more gore, but I did like how he filmed her and then sent the video to her. That was a nice touch.
