Probably because you're far more snippy and sarcastic than most around here :p

Yeah, exactly.

It felt to me like it epitomised so many things that I like about 70's and 80's horror that are sadly lacking in modern horror films.

Watched Silent Hill and the making of documentary. its nice to see that part of the reason the movie was so well done was because the director was a fan of the game who wanted to make a movie out of it.

alkytrio666 08-26-2008 10:23 AM

Watched some reeeally bad ones this week for some fun.

- House by the Cemetery (1981)
- Castle Freak (1995)
- Ghoul School (1990)

urgeok2 08-26-2008 10:24 AM

Finished the second Harry Potter movie in hi-def last night.

I know people here hate them - but i can watch them all once a year.

if you could edit out the Moaning Myrtle character - and fix the John Cleese spots to make them a little more meaningful .. they'd be perfect entertainment.

I enjoyed the 3rd movie the best, even though it left the most out. I stopped watching them after that one though.

Well, maybe, if you feel like getting really, really drunk with a few buddies to some absolutely mindless entertainment. I doubt you could get your hands on a copy though- I'm estimating a budget of about $300.

Oh, House by the Cemetery isn't that bad! Its got a couple cheesy moments and the dubbing is horrendous, but otherwise I'd count it among the best Italian horror flicks, and easily my favourite Fulci thusfar.

AUSTIN316426808 08-26-2008 07:19 PM

Tropic Thunder - 6.9/10

vkristen 08-26-2008 07:54 PM

The last horror movie I watched is Alone.

Haha, well I did have an absolute blast watching it, and Fulci's gore is always awesome.

Most annoying child actor/child actor dubber of all-time...and I loved laughing at him.
