excellent movie- very well directed and full of suspense... but there's one big fat red herring in the beginning that pisses me off.

which one? not that I will rewatch this movie any time soon. It made me sick.

"The forbidden kingdom" 2/10

Horrible, horrible movie.

Never been a fan of the wires or Jet Li. And now Jackie Chan... for shame..

Michael Angarano annoyed me from beginning to end and the dude obviously can't fight. Why the hell did he get the role??

The story was laughable lame, without being remotely funny. And the dialogue.... brrrrrr.. yikes. Sooo cliché.

Zikes! Those are three superbly atmospherically creepy films.

Reminded me of "Deathwatch", but better.

Sure took some time before it picked up the pace tho.

Oh! I just said that yesterday and now... ' wow!..how lucky I am!!' Last evening I got the movie at a nearby dvd rental store where they just somehow (probably) downloaded the movie and the rest you can assume.;)

Anyway, It was a great fun ride indeed. It's all tremendously gruesome scenes made it a lovable flick like Ichi the killer or even Battle Royale...specially in case of gore fest. I think it has all potentiality to be a great new contender besides Inside for a list like "all time goriest films ever made".

Still soon or later I'm surly going to order it on e-bay (for the original dvd to enrich my collection) with Inside.:)

not exactly a spiritually uplifting film - but it was gorgeous.

you could have substituted Finnes' schindlers list bad guy with the one in this film and it would be a smooth transition

Rear Window

Honestly didn't watch a whole lot of it...put it on for background noise more than anything. Still, an utterly incredible movie - just keeps getting better.

Justice League: New Frontier-I liked The Green Lantern and The Flash. Disliked the Batman, namely because it wasn't Kevin Conroy. Overall good lil' cartoon.

You Don't Mess With The Zohan-I'm a fan of Sandler so I'm probably biased when I say I enjoyed it.

Kurt Cobain: About A Son-The most amazing thing I've ever seen (heard).

missmacabre 06-06-2008 08:53 PM

P2.... dunno why we watched it. Seeing a guy get splattered against a wall made me laugh though...... I meannnnn... poor guy.

Rogue (2008)

Another big fat crocodile movie and this time it's from the maker of Wolf Creek. The killing rate was very low and some of them not shown at all. The last 15 minutes of final climax in the croc-cave was fairly watchable.
