Brilliance on a movie screen. It has a warmth which cannot be explained in mere words, and the ending is one of the most touching visuals one can ever experience.

The man was an absolute genius. Too bad he will always be one of the most underrated personas of cinema history.

Rating - * * * * ½

One of my ten favorites. Movie magic.

Watched Superbad yesterday. :) Fucking hilarious....

Watching Transformers now. Typical Michael Bay so far. Having a hard time getting into the "cool" that is laminating the "bullshit"

Yeh some of those were genius :D reminded me of several defaced textbooks in high school that I came across or lent my atristic talents to.

Last watched: The Loveless.

Dig this film a lot and the Blue Underground edition of the DVD is solid.
What ever happened to Katherine Bigelow? This one and Near Dark are criminally underrated films of the 80s.
Really dig the DVD-ROM content of the Blue Underground releases probably the most definitive editions a lot of the films in their catalogue will get.
Gonna watch their edition of Revolver soon should be fuckin' killer!

OK, finished transformers. Fun to watch. once, as urge said...

Very hollow movie. Micheal Bay isnt satan, only because satan is clever.

REC

I was WAY too sober to watch this movie.

On a scale of 1 to 10, I give it a solid 11 and can't wait to watch it again.

I've heard this movie mentioned dozens of times but I've never known what it was about or who was involved. I guess I'm gonna have to look it up since everyone loves it.

School Of Rock.

urgeok2 05-16-2008 06:33 PM

The Chronicles of Narnia : Prince Caspian.

not bad at all .. the usual spectacle - the great effects we're now taking for granted ... and a really good villian.

pinkfloyd45769 05-16-2008 07:15 PM

Return to Horror High, funny thing is i've never watched the first one.

GorePhobia 05-16-2008 07:20 PM

You're not missing much.. bad dialogue, lame twist, no atmosphere..

Dante'sInferno 05-16-2008 08:43 PM

Juno.It was alright.

The_Return 05-16-2008 08:55 PM

The Mist

FINALLY got to watch the whole thing...loved it! Such a ballsy ending; I'm really amazed that a mainstream flick would end on such a brutally low note.

X¤MurderDoll¤X 05-16-2008 10:31 PM

Is the original The Wickerman worth watching?

It's very... different. I would say it's worth watching but I wouldn't expect a lot of people to really like it.

I'd say do it, it's a good movie, a bit trippy and creepy and nicely dated.

Friday

I hadn't seen this for a long long time, when it came on I just had to roll a big fat one...

7/10
