Dig this film a lot and the Blue Underground edition of the DVD is solid.
What ever happened to Katherine Bigelow? This one and Near Dark are criminally underrated films of the 80s.
Really dig the DVD-ROM content of the Blue Underground releases probably the most definitive editions a lot of the films in their catalogue will get.
Gonna watch their edition of Revolver soon should be fuckin' killer!

FINALLY got to watch the whole thing...loved it! Such a ballsy ending; I'm really amazed that a mainstream flick would end on such a brutally low note.

Is the original The Wickerman worth watching?

It's very... different. I would say it's worth watching but I wouldn't expect a lot of people to really like it.

Oh! It was fucking GOREgious! Expecting to see more Horrifying films like this from it's blood-thirsty directors in future.
Highly recommendable for any GORE & GORE lover and truly avoidable for the pregnant women!
