Australians don't actually drink it, but It's good someone does, don't worry, the brittish seem to like the shit as well...

Phalanx 04-12-2008 07:34 PM

I drank it once or twice...but yeah, it's a shame, it seems to be that one of the most unremarkable beers here has recognition abroad.
All I can ever say is, if you comme to Australia, order anything BUT the Fosters, wait, don't get XXXX or VB either. I think it's a safe to say that anything outside of those, will be better.

I just had a smint.

Hah same thing happend to me about 2 months ago. When it was over with....I was like.....FOOD!

Phalanx 04-19-2008 08:29 PM

Drinking some tea now.
Had a curry we made from scratch with some goat and potatoes last night, personally the first time I've tried the meat, which I found similar to lamb but less fatty, and held together over lengthy cooking of a curry a little better.
Might try to aquire some more for grilling - I'd like to see how the meat holds up without too much flavour influence.

Salad today, perhaps some grilled croc with, if it unfreezes in time.
