Just Another Love Story

Danish director Ole Bornedal serves up a distressing and moving slice of film noir with a fractured timeline and even more fractured characters. This one isn't for everyone; it's in Danish, it's little slow and it holds an odd eroticism at its core...needless to say, I really enjoyed it and can't wait to see more of Bornedal's work.

Really suprised with this one.Great plot twist and turns that you never see coming. Can't believe Ben Affleck directed this.

Reservoir Dogs

Getting through the DVDs I own, of movies I've already seen, before I bought them... before I start watching the DVDs of movies I've NEVER seen before.

Make sense?

Sicko.....All these healthcare companies are corrupt and only care about making profits. Even the insured are in danger with these healthcare companies! The U.S. really needs to adapt to the European's universal healthcare. I highly recommend everyone to see this documentary. I give it a 9 out of 10.

I have a job and receive health insurance... I would be VERY upset if I had to pay extra taxes so other people got insurance. Anyway, this probably isn't the thread to debate this.

BH14 02-29-2008 09:05 PM

If there was universal healthcare, you wouldnt have to pay for insurance. You and many others "think" that you are fully insured. Just hope that you aren't in a situation where these companies find some loophole. They do it all the time to the insured. The documentary is not about a free ride. The U.S. health care system is a complete joke and if you seen the movie, you will know why United States is ranked so low when it comes to health care. Go watch the movie.

"condemned" 6/10

Brutal and very Battle Royalish.

A thing that really annoyed me was the constant unsteady camera every time there was a fight. This was so obviously a desperate attempt to hide the bad choreography.

It's about a man who couldn't fly.

So he puts a rocket on his back, and instantly he becomes one of the most boring superheroes ever..

He wears a rocketpack on his back, flies around and fights Nazis. One of Disney's better live action movies, a decent if silly period piece, and it has Terry O'Quinn in it.

Grim Reaper ~ Basically a lame rip off of Final Destination. And that tells you everything you need to know.

Bloody Mary ~ Nothing special, and was mostly annoying. Had some potential maybe, but if it did, it was wasted.

Calvaire ~ odd, sometimes creepy and certainly interesting, but really, I am still not sure how to take it.
Oh and I've still yet to see Deliverance, which this is compared to quite a bit.

and two Masters of Horror episodes, both I liked.

Cigarette Burns
Dreams in the Witch-House

I've watched it and Moore is a sensationalist who doesn't know all, or even most of the facts.

Airplane!
One of the best comedies ever, there's hardly a scene that doesn't make me chuckle.
