The christmas lunch and dinner...here we go...
Myself and the girl did it all, no outsiders.

Lunch was largely salad based, lets just say about 10 types of green/purple leaf vegetables, some tomato wedges, finely sliced spanish onion. I made a dressing with a little whole egg mayo, water, red chilli, lemon juice, garlic, white wine, oregano, ginger, some freshly made kaffir lime salt, ground pepper, wholeseed mustard, sumac, and juice of orange...yes, it's a little strange a combination but I'm pretty good with flavours, and it turned out very well.
I shaved some special baked and smoked parmesan on top.
Next to the salad, we had a sliced french stick with logicol (cholesterol reducing butter-like stuff), some smoked salmon and tiger prawns, a little lemon juice nd cracked pepper over those.

So, that was lunch - Just had some coke (yeah, I know...temporary ban lift) and beers with it.

Dinner, just did one of our favourite things, the roast dinner.
We pre-prepared some stuffing (one mushroom based, one plain) and threw it into a couple of large chickens.
One, we made rather plain as someone has rather bland tastes in the family...just seasoned that.
The other, I rubbed with some smoky paprika, lemon juice, coarse black pepper, granulated garlic, a little salt, and tumeric.
The chickens were both done perfectly, nice and moist, no pink, crispy on the outside...NICE.
I'd also pre-boiled then baked some vegetables under the chicken, some potatoes and sweet potato which I tossed through a little ricebran oil, on the potatoes I put a little oregano and paprika, on the sweet potato, a little sugar, some nutmeg and cinnamon. I also threw in a whole spanish onion in peices, and some halved large cherry tomatoes with a little sumac and garlic on them.

Had some beer and bread with it...got totally stuffed.
Then, of course, it was time for dessert.

The girl had pre-prepared this one on her own...with a little input here'n there (but not much at all really) from me.
I guess you could call it something like a ?trifle?
3 layers of fat free natural fruit flavoured jelly/jello stacked on top of eachother, orange, rasberry, and strawberry flavour. In each layer was peices of the actual fruit added, all except for the rasberry, blackberries went in that.
Sandwiching the jelly/jello was vanilla cake which she put all kinds of colours in. Half on the bottom, half on top.
The exterior of this was coated in some white chocolate orange ganache, and some milk chocolate beads. Vanilla custard all around.
Very strange, but totally tasty...the fresh fruit really kicked ass.

So yup...that was it.
Probably some leftovers heated up in a bread roll for breakfast.
