Who's angry? Me? I just don't like Paul McCartney and he annoys me. I really aren't into the Beatles anymore. I can sometimes tolerate Abbey Road but they just bore me shitless these days.

99 million, Lou Reed DID do the song about possums, and Bowie had 2 great songs and a couple decent songs. But nothing Bowie has ever done could hope to come close to how great Heroin is

I havent heard a whole lot of Lou Reed but 'Perfect Day' is one of my top 5 songs all time I'd say. I've never been into Bowie much... *Shrug*

yeah, Perfect Day is great (though you like it more than I do). But I think most of Reed's best stuff was when he was in The Velvet Underground

I've seen it a bunch of times. Gotta love Lester Bangs, I had a great picture of him in a "Last of the White Niggers" t-shirt.

Lou Reed's best stuff definatley was in the Velvets. The s/t album and Loaded are two of my all time favorite records. I really like a bunch of the songs from his album New York (definatley a album that slips everyone by).
