At least I bothered to finish it. Most people who dont like a movie just turn it off. I watched it all hoping to like it. I deserve points for trying.

I thought this was better than the original. Double the action and double the gore. Oh, and it has Ron Perlman. How can you go wrong with this?

Blazing Saddles.

Two Weeks Notice

Like The Rock, Sandra Bullock is someone who can do no wrong by me, even with movies such as these. Just makes me smile.

Yellow Jacket 11-26-2007 04:49 PM

The Invisible

Typical teen horror movie, but not as bad. Justin Chatwin's performance helped this film out a lot.

We All Scream For Ice Cream (Masters Of Horror)

Nothing special.... it wasn't anything i'd really recommend but it wasn't bad. It had a few bits that were on the eerie side but nothing memorable.

Posters on the previous page have me wanting to re-watch The Big Lebowski and Fargo. I might have to go and do that...

Mulholland Dr. is excellent. The performance given by Naomi Watts is simply breath-taking. Her audition scene? Wow.

Trucks

Based on a short story by Stephen King (seems like every horror movie nowadays has this attached to it), this direct-to-TV USA Films movie is about killer trucks. I can't explain it any more than that. Going into this film, I was hoping for a Duel-like movie, about crazy truck drivers preying on an innocent little town. But all I got was living, killing trucks. It was stupid and dull. The attack scenes were just boring and were the worst parts of the movie. The worst thing though is that the cover art was pretty cool.

Damn you, cover art!

I'll Always know what you did last summer

IT's not that bad of a franchise. But there was to many holes in the movie, I hope there is more to come. They could still make some really good movies with what has been laid out so far. Also I didn't like the MTV spect to this one, uhuh...

Futurama: Bender's Big Score

It's great to see one of the most underrated series return! It's as if they never left (though they do remind us in the beginning). If you're a Futurama fan, check this one out.

Hot Rod
Looked promising, but was just plain stupid. I might've chuckled here and there, but a chuckle doesn't made a good comedy. Isla Fisher (God I love her) was the only good thing about this movie.

Agree with you on that one.

It looked like it could be pretty funny, but no.... It made absolutely no sense. And not in the Austin Powers or Airplane style of nonsense.... Just... Don't even bother

Exactly. I felt the same way. I thought I was going to come out laughing, but came out pretty pissed off.

joshaube 11-28-2007 08:21 PM

Watched 155 films so far this year. Here's what I've seen this month...
The first two were the best. Waitress was also quite good.
Ratatouille was as good as any Pixar film, but Nemo is still my favourite.
Pleasantville was far better than I expected. Really surprised me.

November 2007
Volver (2006)
American Beauty (1999)
Transformers (2007)
Ratatouille (2007)
P2 (2007)
American Pie Presents Band Camp (2005)
Kids in America (2005)
Sicko (2007)
Waitress (2007)
Pleasantville (1998)

Eastern Promises
http://entimg.msn.com/i/150/mo/OneSh...rnpromises.jpg

One of the finest cronenberg film. Everyone did splendid job with their character. The story was simply beautiful which about a London midwife Anna (Watts) who seeks clues to identity a teen who died in childbirth and left a diary. From the diary she get the attention of Russian mafia, because it carries a dirty secret of their kingpin.

Definitely worth a watch.
