My favorite Bava flick is Bay of Blood.I really loved all the carnage in it!:)

Just watched 40 minutes of Saw. Stopped to get some lunch.

jenna26 10-27-2007 11:08 AM

Miami Vice ~ stylish, with a pretty cool gun fight, but the characters were mostly unbelievable or dull, and had other problems that I won't even get into. Really kind of surprising that this was made by the same guy that made Heat.

Santa's Slay

This was as bad as you would assume. Terrible acting, plot and script. Average gore. Some of the stuff is so stupid it's laughable, but not enough to make it worth watching.

Hostel 2

Is it just me or do these Hostel films move really slow for the first hour or so? I thought the original was boring for the first hour, and the same holds true here. This one had a better plot and character development than the original did though. The gore was horrific and plentiful, but only for the last half hour.

A couple of 70's horror movies today whilst laying around nursing a hangover after the Halloween party last night.

The Burning & House at the Edge of the Park

GorePhobia 10-27-2007 07:24 PM

Scary Movie and it was on NBC and they cut out most of the funny stuff and used alot of deleted scenes as filler scenes which made it suck even more.

Kane_Hodder 10-27-2007 07:59 PM

Last House on Dead End Street.
I liked the way how this film ended.

cactus 10-27-2007 08:53 PM

The Omen (1976)

Damien: Omen II (1978)

bwind22 10-27-2007 10:48 PM

The Reaping

Lacked originality. This was mainly boring. They tried to throw a twist in at the end, but the movie had already passed the crappiness point of no return. Don't waste your time unless Stigmata was one of your favorites.

Fido - 8/10
Great film. Very original. A breath of fresh air in the Horror/Comedy genre. If you like Zombie flix. This ones for you.

The Tripper - 4/10
Just your run of the mill piece of shit of a Slasher flix made by David Arquette. I gave 4/10 because I went to High School with Jamie King.

Andre The Butcher - 1/10
This suck fest was basically a Skinamax softcore porn flix with cheap gore, and Ron Jeremy.....Go Figure

Transformers

I want those 2 hours and 20 minutes back!

SEriously, if you go to watch it, just start it 58 mins in.

The soundtrack and the score where just excrueating, I can't explain how dissapointed I am....

Didn't even think it was mindless fun? That was my opinion.

That's because you hate Michael Bay.

Because all of his movies suck...

The only thing I liked about Transformers wass that little guy who changed from the radio.

Disease 10-28-2007 12:22 PM

It was total rubbish, I can't really explain how much I hated it, and how much I hate myself for thinking it would be good!

I'd rather watch the cartoon movie, or be subjected to brutal torture rather than ever see this again!

GorePhobia 10-28-2007 01:29 PM

Oh well like I said to each their own. I didn't say I loved it just thought it was fun.

Going to see Saw IV tonight.

Dan In Real Life (2007)

Not great or anything, but very entertaining, and miles ahead of your average light comedy-drama.

the_real_linda 10-28-2007 01:52 PM

saw 4

too predictable and obvious but time line is frakked

joshaube 10-28-2007 02:00 PM

SAW IV killed my faith in the franchise.

Resident Evil Extinction 4/10

Better that the second one but still crappy.

phantomstranger 10-28-2007 06:05 PM

Black Sheep

Hysterically funny movie about killer sheep

Resident Evil: Extinction

to me...not better than the previous parts.

Saw IV

I loved it. They still got it I tell ya. After four movies you'd think they'd have a tired story but they don't. It ties the movies together very well.
