depends, though it's about a cannibal who kills people with a drill it's not graphic.......so if you're expecting gore then you will be disappointed

Be Cool
John Travolta, Uma Thruman, Harvey Keitel (starting to think Tarantino?) Cedric The Entertainer, The Rock, Christina Millian, Vince Vaughn, and Andre 3000 with cameos by Steven Tyler and Seth Green

club dread
I thought it was suppose to be funny

ChEEbA 03-23-2005 02:14 AM

I know...I fucking HATED club D...
I thought the only remotely funny part was
"You guys...are fucking DEAD"
"IS THAT A THREAT?"
The rest just fucking sucked...I was looking foward to a half-decent movie after quite enjoying super troopers...I was dissapointed as all hell.

Go see psycho beach party instead...

exe_bh 03-23-2005 02:20 AM

it's the second part to Get Shorty, Travolta is playing the same role.

"Devils Advocate" and 'Wicker Park"

movieman64 03-23-2005 07:00 AM

Capt. Kronos the Vampire Hunter for about the 10,000th time. I also picked up From Beyond. I only watched about half of it, but it's been about 20 yrs since I've seen it. I picked it up for $15.00 brand new, VHS:( I'm thinking about transfering it to DVD though, if I ever find the time.

AUSTIN316426808 03-23-2005 07:39 AM

Fright Night 2 for the first time, wasn't better than the first but still entertaining.

movieman64 03-23-2005 08:19 AM

I just watched the orginal last week again, I agree with you on the original vs 2 also.

bwind22 03-23-2005 08:46 AM

I just watched I (heart) Huckabees last night. Very funny movie. If you liked Napolean Dynamite (Excellent movie!) then you would probably like Huckabees. The humor is along those lines.

The last horror movie I watched was Ginger Snaps for like the fourth time. My fiance had never seen it and all of a sudden it disappeared from every video store in a 20 mile radius (Very weird!) so I had to buy it off eBay. We just watched it the other night.

the comeback

The_Return 03-23-2005 02:12 PM

I realised the coincidence in the titles of the last two movies I watched AFTER Id seen them both...

First off, I finally rented Session 9. I didnt think it was possible for Americans to make a good, original, and even somewhat scary horror movie anymore. I was wrong. Damn this was a great movie....it would be a major spoiler if I described it, but the shot of Gordon at the end was great. Plus the last line, best closing line Ive ever heared [Dont worry, this wont spoil anything} : "I Live in the weak and the wounded...Doc". Did that line not leave anyone else wideeyed and openmouthed until you realised that you had been watching the credits for 5 minutes?

Anyway, I just finished watching Plan 9 from Outer Space. Cant exactly shower it with praise like it did Session 9...but I enjoyed it. Very laughable, but I guess thats why I wanted to see it anyway:p
