Downloaded the current ep. of Jericho.
For fellow watchers - All I can say is...FINALLY...but...could it just be more lies? Here's to who I think is the best character in the show.
M.A.S.H - Had season 1 on dvd for ages, finally got into it.
I remember bits and peices from childhood, my parent/s watched it...but I think I only took in maybe a third. Very solid show, the humour is terrific, and there's truly some moments that have you feeling terrible...the acting is pretty much excellent across the board here too. Quality.
I'll be buying the other boxsets after we're done with this one, going at a criminally low price for such a good show.
Stargate: Atlantis
Series 1...I loved the stargate movie, but only watched some of the first series of SG1, which I thought was "ok". That said, I was a little apprehensive in watching this, knowing I'd followed the last show very little...but essentially the follow-on was handled pretty well, the characters (yes, even though some were in SG1 for a little while) were all introduced quite well, and the storyline was a pretty good premise...kind've reminds me a little of how "voyager" started...same kinda show, but without their huge base or any support, new friends, new enemies...etc.
It's quite cool...I really didn't think I'd get into it as much. The effects are GREAT, and the badguys...fuckin' cool...Loved the dying line
"You fools, we are only the keepers of those who sleep, now that I've passed they will awaken - All of them" Kinda chilling stuff there...the badguys are really well done, their dialogue good, as that of the main characters.
I hope it stays good...only 3 eps in so far, but yeah...it's all good...probably my favourite "new" sci-fi show since Firefly.
