Our first semifinalist cruised through the first round with a dominant 9-1-0 victory over Cherry Falls and Crow: Wicked Prayer. In it's second match, the going got a little tougher, but not by much as it emerged from the round with a 5-2-1 win over Versus and Scream 3 and in the quarterfinals, this film also won out another hard fought match up by a score of 8-7-0 against The Eye and A Tale of 2 Sisters to advance to this point..... With a combined tournament record of 22-11... High Tension http://www.badmovieguy.com/uploaded_...ion-791906.jpg Our second semifinalist shutout the competition in the opening round with a 5-0-0 win against Vulgar & The Exorcism of Emily Rose and then went on to take out some tough competitors in it's second match by a margin of 5-4-1 over Vampire Hunter D: Bloodlust and The Ring. In the quartfinals, this film had a decisive win against two other well-received films, winning 7-3-2 over Underworld and Ginger Snaps to arrive here in the semifinals.... That was followed up by another convincing 8-2-0 win over Land of the Dead and Crow: Salvation in the next round. This film continued it's roll right through the quartfinals, putting down another decisive 7-2-0 win over Cabin Fever and Saw for a spot in the semifinals.... In the quarterfinals, this film had it's third decisive win against two other well-received films, winning 7-2-0 over The Devils Rejects & Dagon to arrive here in the semifinals.... With a total tournament record of 29-5...
