I'm seriously considering going to see it again while it's still in theaters. Just don't think it'll measure up on DVD.

"If.....Yooou..................................... ............................. DON'T !!!" :D

I've heard something about that trailer is being made into an actual movie. That would be pretty sweet. :)

Actually a lot of the trailers had some very nice ideas horror-wise. I especially loved the white eyeballs of lots of the "evil" people. that was very 70ish.

Kill Bill Vol.1 & 2 back to back. 08/10

I can safely say that this is the 3rd best effort of Tarantino...after Pulp Fiction and Reservoir Dogs. Great movie.

Tarantino didnt direct FDTD. Robert Rodriguez did.;)

My rating for QT (as director) goes like this

- Pulp Fiction

- Reservoir Dogs

- Kill Bill Vol 1 & 2

- Jackie Brown

- Sin City (since he was only a guest director)

- "Death Proof" segment of Grindhouse

- My Best Friend's Birthday

- Four Rooms (one segment, forgot which)

For Rodriguez, my list d be

- The Faculty

- From Dusk Till Dawn

- Sin City

- "Planet Terror" segment of Grindhouse

- El Mariachi

- Desperado

- Once Upon a Time in Mexico

- The Spy Kids movies

- The Adventures of Sharkboy and Lavagirl 3-D (which I hated)

Are you telling me, UNDER OTH, that Tarantino wasn't involved in the direction of the first half of the movie???

Of all the movies mentioned, From Dusk Till Dawn is definitely my favorite. The Faculty comes in second.

I'm not a big Tarantino fan..

Tarantino directed exactly 1 scene in Sin City, but he wrote From Dusk Til Dawn & True Romance. To me, (obviously just my opinion here) he played a much larger role in the films he wrote than he did in the film he helped RR out on 1 rainy scene. *Shrug* Not that it really matters though, all the films he had a significant part in making have been fuckin' badass if ya ask me.

Friday the 13th Part 5: A New Beginning

After 4 pretty solid films, this franchise takes a nosedive here. Bad acting, bad script, minimal gore, and an imposter Jason to top it all off. There are still a few entertaining pieces here or there but they are pretty few and far between in this one.

D+

Spider-Man 3

Ok, so yes, I saw about half of this in the theater(Don't ask), but I liked it much better than the second one. The first is still the best, but the third was really good. I don't see why they ended it the way they did, but I won't spoil it for you. It wasn't dissapointing.

8/10

I m willing to bet he did a lot more than just write or produce in all the movies he is credited as writer or producer. A writer/producer who is a director himself can be a really valuable asset to the movie-maker, since he can give a lot of inputs into the story and the visualisation of it. Hence its hard to distinguish between Rodriguez and Tarantino as different entities, as far as their collaborated projects go.

To me both of em are two wheels of a well-oiled and tuned Ferrari. Pure class.

28 Weeks Later.
You folks in the states will probably have to wait a lil longer for this one...but, all the same...I thought it was very good. I was very apprehensive, as I loved the first one, and do 'til this day...The first scene in the film was insane, not to mention some craziness I won't even mention.
Tense, chaotic, met my expectations.
Felt a little like it ended a tad too quickly..and I think I still prefer the first, but as a fellow fan of the first for anyone wondering if the sequel is worth it, I don't think you'll be dissapointed.

It came out today.

I may take my girlfriend Raven to go see it. I mentioned it last night and she says she really liked the first one and wants to see the second. So that may be what we do today.

You're right, it was pretty good, I didn't expect anything BAD from Stuart Gordon though. :)

bloody_ribcut 05-11-2007 10:21 PM

horror with porn star actors, the gore was ok but the sex is overdone.

Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Man's Chest [2006]

Two thumbs up. Can't wait for the third.

Spiderman 3 [2007]

Not as good as I expected, but not nearly as bad as all the fanboys are making it out to be.

Are you kidding? psh, lame. That was a waste of a half hour waiting through those credits that took forever!

Sick_As_Fuck 05-12-2007 05:08 PM

LOL, well I'm a huge dog person so it made me feel good inside that he didn't become an Asian delicacy.

...But he did... Did you not understand the whole cannibal thing?

Posher778 05-12-2007 05:24 PM

Kraken: Tentacles of the Deep- BAHAHA spare me. That was NOT a kraken, that was a sea horse *roll eyes* Lame. The acting was almost passable, and the story was fairly solid. It sucked to a vast extent, and I would take the 10 seconds of the kraken slamming into the ship in POTC2 over this entire movie.
