Night of the Demons

It was OK, but only OK. It's just typical 80's, not scary in the least cheese, with horrible acting and dialogue, and blah blah gore and boobs, but it's all fun. It was watchable, but nothing i'd recommend too highly.

Can someone explain the ending to me?

5/10

Sorry, I don't recall the ending, but I will save you some time by making you aware of the fact that NOTD2 & NOTD3 are basically the exact same film as the original. Same story, same plot, same house, different victims, but essentially the exact same movie. Don't waste your time on either of those ones...

Oh don't worry... This was enough.

Spoiler**********

The ending is something about apples in pie, and the wife feeds the old guy, and his stomach opens up with blood, it's retarded...

I finally finished off Ken Burns’ The West this week. Good documentary – about 15 hours worth!

Children of Men

Pretty cool film about a dark, but plausible future where the women of the world are rendered infertile by an unknown cause, but one woman is miraculously pregnant and it's up to the hero to make sure she stays safe.

Pretty damn grim, but also a pretty awesome movie at the same time.

Well, to be fair...NO ONE could really live up to that...Hauer was perfect for that role

Tideland
Dark, fucked-up, yet oddly hopeful. Terry Gilliam's version of Alice in Wonderland. I'm sure a lot of people will think it's horrible because of the shit the little girl goes through, but I loved it.

Assault on Precinct 13 is such a badass flick. Watch it again. It's so gritty and realistic feeling, shocking and tense.

I'm gonna revisit it this weekend, methinks.

really disapointed with this one. sluggishly slow, ample amount of violence doesnt redeem it. little to no action. no character developement. pretty boring film all around imo.

Ugh! Why, oh, why do I ever let Alana pick out a movie? This one SUCKED! Long, boring, unfunny, unsuspenseful, no action, no nothing... Just 2 hours and 15 minutes of wasted life. Skip it at all costs!

Should have read my review of it first. Could have saved those 130-odd minutes.;)

Nice 'n creepy with an interesting story. Just like a good horror movie should be.

Weird looking lead actress. But she did a good job.

Two thumbs up.

The Fog (Remake)

Meh... It wasn't great, but I wasn't a huge fan of the original either so I wasn't really expecting it would be. Fairly typical, relatively goreless ghost story. The acting was decent and the script and plot and everything connected well, it's just that ghost stories seldom entertain me and this one is no exception.
