I'll go with Beck because I used to dig him when I was younger. I still like his album One Foot In The Grave but don't listen to much else these days.

I'll have to go with the Smiths as they're one of the bands I grew up hearing.

To quote South Park: "Disintegration is the best album ever!" maybe not the best, but it's damn good. Especially compared to anything by Oasis. Fuckin' Oasis. What's a Champagne Supernova? Sounds like an ice cream novelty.

I was gonna say "what about Led Zeppelin?" or "what about the White Stripes?" but Led Zeppelin is that good and you're kinda right. But Bank Robber is an awesome song and so is Rock the Casbah. Problem with the Clash is that they forget that punk is not meant to be political.
