Obviously, you haven't seen Henry because if you had, you wouldn't be refering to it as "spunk". In my opinion, it's lightyears ahead of The Shining in the entertainment department. Shining has to be one of the most over-rated films out there. It was okay, but mostly boring. I don't see why it's thought so highly of at all. (Same with Phantasm & Lucio Fulci films. To me, they just suck.)

Everyone is entitled to their opinions about a certain movie, whether they like it or not. If I like a movie, it isnt necessary that the person in front of me will like the movie too. Its all individual opinions IMO. Each one of us has the right to ours.

Henry was ok, but a bit over-rated in my book. As V said, everyone has its own view on these kinds of films.

I've yet to see Henry (though its on my ever growing "must see" list), but there is no way in Hell that it can beat Re-Animator. One of my all-time favourites, hands down.
