I've been waiting for this one for far too long and my hopes are high.

So, are the guys behind Shaun of the Dead and Spaced up to their regular standard? Looks great, going to this one completely fucking blitzed.

Kinda watched monster house...the comic was better...it seemed "ok" though, pretty nice animation, but not one I'd buy personally.

This was an interesting film from the mid 70s. Less gore than I'd expect from a Cronenberg flick, but it was still pretty good. Good acting, unique plot... Pretty entertaining.

For Your Consideration

Well, I liked it, but I didn't think it was as good as Best in Show or Spinal Tap. Fred Willard always seems to shine the brightest in these movies, but Eugene Levy was good too. Pretty entertaining, but not quite up to the high standards Christopher Guest & co have set for themselves with previous films.

Finally watched a DVD of Tigerland that I had bought quite some time ago....but just got around ot wathcing on the recommendation of someone on this forum. Hell of a movie. Liked it alot! :)

Dark Town

Wow, this movie was really bad. Crap acting, crap story, crap directing. The only semi-redeeming quality is that there was a good deal of blood. It's just too bad the budget was so low that none of it looked very good. Bad, stupid vampire movie. Think 'Hood of the Living Dead' with vampires instead of zombies and this is what you get.

This isn't a torture movie, this is a revenge movie. I look at it differently than most. This one isn't about the kills or the terrorrr, its about the revenge he takes, everyone that's seen it knows what I mean. Anger.

***I wish a movie would just frickin torture once in a while, the torture scenes in this aren't TORTURE, they're lame. Things like the stuff they did happen to people in their backyards and garages every day... woohoo. It wasn't that scary either, just blah.

Pretty entertaining, very interesting. Solid performance by DeNiro, as usual, and better than average performances by the rest of the crew.

Always love this. Best part is Brenda in the movie theater, when she screams at that lady.

Absolutely terrible.

Watched "the transporter" while doing some ironing...no great level of concentration though. Decent film, good soundtrack, very nicely done stunt coreography. I like most of Bessons stuff, kind've pissed that he's supposedly not making films anymore.

Jason Statham is a talentless Tony Jaa wanna-be.

Or maybe he's just a Steven Segal wanna-be.

You aaaaaalmost made it sound good there, for a few seconds...

Well, its a good movie, but it is NOT what I thought it was. The first one is like, gore/horror/math/sci fi, but this one is less explained and more *wtf is going on* with lots of math and stuff, but no real explanations. The effects are worth watching it for imo, or maybe just perfect for a.d.d. kids like me:D . It's not a complete let down though, but it isn't horror in the least, not at all. Its definently just science/scifi/weird

Nope:rolleyes: Not at all. I hated the end of the first. Well... the last reel was cool and all, but it was unfair :( . Also, I didn't like how only 2 people (one to my standards) was actually killed by a trap, and that was the beginning, and that was it.... stupid.

Alien

#2 best ever horror. Favorite parts are still the ventilation scene (ooh scary), and the last 20 or so minutes with the running camera and the suspense.

I highly, highly recommend it. I have both; the single disc edition is actually pretty special features-packed, but the Ultimate Collector's Edition has everything.
