Ju-on

Roderick Usher 08-21-2006 06:41 PM

that's 6-6, but Underworld hit 5 first.

Hollow Man gettin' no love - rightfully so

persuasian70 08-21-2006 07:02 PM

Underworld for the lead. As for Ju-on, I actually liked the American remake better. I thought the story was more cohesive and flowed better.

The_Return 08-21-2006 07:04 PM

Tough one.

I thought Ju-On was great, but I really enjoyed Underworld too...

I think I gotta go for Kate in tight leather:D

Underworld wins with 9! Ju-on takes 2nd with 6 and Hollow Man gets shut out with 0.

Next match coming right up...

Underworld - I thought this was an inventive, fresh and original blend of old legends mixed with cool Matrix style action sequences. I enjoyed it.

Ju-on - Ugh. I am not a fan of these Asian ghost stories that all seem the same and I'm even less of a fan of their American counterparts.

Hollow Man - Interesting new twist on the Invisible Man story but nothing groundbreaking here. Still a decent popcorn flick though...

Tale of 2 Sisters leads 1-0-0 over American Haunting & Dracula 2000!

Need more votes...

roshiq 08-21-2006 10:56 PM

A TALE OF 2 SISTERS.....I have'nt seen yet; but between the other two>>>> I like 2 go for An American Haunting!! (cause...most of the vampire/draculla movies sucks!!)

crippler666 08-21-2006 10:56 PM

Dracula 2000

Roderick Usher 08-21-2006 11:01 PM

Dracula 2000 was terrible

and a guilty pleasure - Judas Iscariot? Come on, that aint bad.

D2000!

bloodrayne 08-21-2006 11:06 PM

A Tale Of Two Sisters was okay

American Haunting was a major letdown

Dracula 2000 was pretty typical, but it was a little more 'visually stimulating' than the other two...So...

Dracula 2000

AUSTIN316426808 08-21-2006 11:59 PM

Dracula 2000

bwind22 08-22-2006 12:05 AM

:D

bwind22 08-22-2006 04:45 PM

A Tale of Two Sisters comes from behind to take the win with 5, ahead of Dracula 2000 with 4 and An American Haunting with 1.

Next match coming up right away...

Tale of 2 Sisters - I haven't seen this.

American Haunting - I haven't seen this yet either, but I'll get it on DVD one of these weeks.

Dracula 2000 - I like it. A cool, violent re-telling of the old Dracula story but in a completely different style and with a very nice twist on the legend. One of my favorite vampire movies.

 twice you've shocked me... twice !!

alrighty, never voted in this thing, but for me it goes to nightwatch.

persuasian70 08-22-2006 05:08 PM

Night Watch was over-hyped, and I haven't seen Daywatch yet. Blood was also overrated I thought. So my vote goes to Resident Evil: Apocalypse because it lived up to my expectations, low as it may be.

Roderick Usher 08-22-2006 05:11 PM

Hey thanks!

Okay, there seems to be some confusion, but hopefully the new poster will help sort it out. Night Watch is not in this match, Day Watch is.

Since Return & Freak are the only people who have voted for films in this match, the score is currently 1-1-0 in favor of Resident Evil Apocalypse & Day Watch. Blood TLV has 0.

Roderick, please recast your vote in English since I don't know if you meant Night Watch or Day Watch when you write in foreign toungue.

Not in the US yet, but it's been out in Europe and/or Russia for a while because it has 1000+ votes on imdb.com already.

Sorry, it's on the poster. At least the poster of Nightwatch you had up when I voted.

Haven't seen Day Watch, but I'll still vote for it over the competition based on the fun of Night Watch.

DAY WATCH
