I'm watching Desperate Souls right now but I don't know if I can finish it. This acting is BAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAD and the story... wow.

Alright, finished it.

Please don't watch this.

Bad guy's here...

Lemora: A Child's Tale of the Supernatural

Great atmosphere and a really cool ending, but pretty slow in the middle. Pretty original take on vampires though.

Society

Uhm...what in God's name did I just watch?

Good movie, but man...brings a whole new dimension to "fucked up".

I enjoyed it alot, and I sure as hell wont be forgetting it anytime soon.

Elvis_Christ 11-23-2006 05:22 PM

haha yeh that film is a bit like that. I haven't watched it in awhile.

I just watched Repo Man again because I picked up a new tape of it that was better condition than my old one. No matter how many times I watch this it still kicks my ass and never gets tired.

urgeok 11-23-2006 05:39 PM

Kung Pow..

goofy fun

Despare 11-23-2006 08:09 PM

I watched nothing, just ate and drank a lot. Society and Kung Pow though... you guys had fun! Great flicks, Society had a sexy orgy scene didn't it Return? ;)

The Fly. Such a great movie. It contains what is probably my all time favorite line in a horror film: when Brundle is in the final stages of his transformation, and Ronnie visits him for the last time. After he finishes rambling about insect politics, he delivers the ultimate: "I'll hurt you if you stay." That line is just so menacing, so utterly chilling. Perfect.

i liked the couple minutes of 1st person shooter ..

but not enough to make it endearing .. just seemed flat and lifeless to me.

the Rock - who is usually very entertaining - was completely wasted...

I enjoyed parts of the film...hated the minutes of first person shooter...seemed utterly ridiculous. Def agree on the ROCK...total waste and he really had to force his character to life.

That could be said for the entire movie.

Tod Browning's Freaks

Fucking excellent. The DVD has a great documentary on the actual performers who were in the movie. The ending creeped me out.

Meet the Feebles
I hadn't seen this in years. Still as raunchy and entertaining as I remember it.

You live in NB, right? Where did you pick this one up? I've been looking for it for AGES, and none of the stores I've looked in have it, nor do the rental stores. I hope you didn't get it online - give me some hope! :p

Family Portraits: A Trilogy of America

Three short films by Douglas Buck. I had already seen Cutting Moments, but I watched it again anyway. I don't know why I do these things to myself. Depressing, disgusting, you feel like you need to scrub with a belt sander after watching it. The mood Buck sets in all three films is just amazing. Home & Prologue don't quite have the effect that Cutting Moments does (which is a shame, because it's the first film on the DVD) but they're both good shorts that will still cut you to the core.

These films ARE NOT for everyone. I think they are very well done, and they really hit home on the atmosphere of disintigrated family on several levels. Very good films all three.

Spiderman 2: Really liked it a lot. I love the spiderman movies.

An American Haunting. Directed by Courtney "Dungeons and Dragons" Solomon, of course it sucked. And after i saw it and realized who made it, i remembered seeing 2 years ago he was working on it. I hope he dies choking on Uwe bole's cock.
