Do you have a link, because apparently it doesn’t exist on IMDB.

Its also known as" In Fondo al Bosco." and its year showing for the Italian title is 2015. Its subtitled and certainly worth a look.

MASTER OF DARK SHADOWS (2019). Decent bio on Dan Curtis, who will always be remembered for the 66-71 Gothic Soap Opera DARK SHADOWS. Gives a brief history of his early life, than how He got into TV with a , not surprisingly , very detailed history of DS along with the 1991 reboot. Good stuff to be sure, but He did more than that and other than THE WINDS OF WAR/WAR AND REMEMBRANCE, all his other projects get the briefest of mentions. I personally would have liked to have heard more stories on THE NIGHT STALKER, FRANKENSTEIN, DRACULA, TRILOGY OF TERROR and BURNT OFFERING. ***

Oh yea, is she a horror fan? Otherwise, NO!

10th &Wolf 8/10

A gangster/gang flick with a bunch of good actors and a nice pacing. My only minor issues was the strangely uneven sound and that the climactic ending could have been done a little better. But besides that I really liked it.

THE LOST FOOTAGE OF LEAH SULLIVAN 2018

One of those movies that starts out okay but the ending is too dark to figure out what happened.

Other than that not bad.

Nobody

Basically John Wick all over again but Bob Odenkirk really killed it and gave a much more charismatic performance than Keanu. Lots of fun with some great splatter and violence.

Separation 7/10

You know it's a potentially good horror movie when

1. It has actors such as Brian Cox in it, which could suggest the general acting is quite good. And it is.

2. When the movie doesn't really contains a bad guy. Sure the mom was kind of a bitch and her dad kind of an asshole. But they all really just wanted what was best for the child. But of course you're still rooting for the loser dad.

3. There's actually an interesting story wrapped around the horror. It's not about annoying teens running around getting killed. That's a thing I've never understood in many horror movies. A group of teens with awful chemistry that goes to a cabin and half of them can't stand each other. Who would ever go on a trip with people they don't like?? Sorry... just needed to get that outa my old system.

Back to "Separation". The bad part. Except for the first 10 seconds of the first scare, which was pretty creepy, the horror was the weak part of the movie. No.. the weakest part was the lame twist at the end. Still worth seeing for the overall story and the performances.

Things Heard and Seen 5/10

You know it's a potentially good horror movie when

1. It has actors such as F. Murray Abraham in it, which could suggest the general acting is quite good. And it is.

The rest wasn't good.

THE BLACKWELL GHOST 1 2017

A filmmaker trying to authenticate hauntings agrees to stay in a haunted house while the owner is away on business.

Creepy at times, watchable.

Wrong Turn (2021) 6-7/10

Gotta admit, I didn't hate it.

I don't understand why they decided to call it Wrong Turn as it clearly isn't a remake. They should just haved called it "The Foundation".

The Resort 4/10

I got the impression that due to the Covid the director got the opportunity to film on a beautiful abandoned location. So he quickly slapped a garbage story together and added even worse dialogue and then took off with the crew to the resort. The movie is only saved a little bit at the last 10 minutes, which had a few alright effects. Up untill then it was just a group of 4 people exploring an island and its abandoned hotel. The soundtrack certainly didn't help as it sounded like it was stolen from a boring action/adventure flick, which did absolutely nothing to create tension or creepy atmosphere. Then it gets to the last 20-30 minutes and the director suddendly remember he's making a horror movie and changes the soundtrack. ::roll eyes::

This is probably the most unintentionally ridiculous movie I’ve ever seen.

Just plain annoying with an awful concept. Not quite handheld hell, But still really, really bad. Ugh..

It didn't seem like a good movie from the trailer. But the old resort location did look good so I'll still check it out one day.

Brightburn was overall okay, with a few buts. The bit with the eye was cool and Noah's death was well constructed, but towards the end, it did get a bit silly and cartoony. But Elisabeth Banks did a good job as the mother with the unwavering confidence. And the end credits have a great Michael Rooker cameo.

Maybe you have to be an older single to appreciated it... cause that was a funny concept. ::big grin::

I am.

Is it funny though? Or is it depressing? Can it be both or is it either or?
To me it was just depressing. And slow. Very, very slow.

Army of the Dead 6/10

I'm not quite sure what to think of this one.

Took forever to get going. About 50 minutes. Lost my attention and I missed the whole purpose of the mission.

What was up with the zombies? Some of them reminded me more of cannibals than undead flesh munchers.

And does money have any value in a world overrun by zombies?
