i forgot ...

i watched another one on the weekend ..

Godzilla - the big budget version.
I always liked the movie despite the bashing it got ...
I thought my kid would dig it because he loves dinosaur movies.

I had to turn it off near the end because he started bawling ...
he wasnt afraid ... he was upset when the baby godzillas were getting killed and he began to realize that the big godzilla was going to get killed too ..cried his eyes out.

gott a love the little guy - cheering for the monsters.

Vodstok 02-21-2005 09:28 AM

What a good kid :)

That was one thing they kept consistent with the original movies: The feeling of loss whent he monster that just destroyed half the city gets killed....

BH14 02-21-2005 09:46 AM

I do find the wayans bros. to be very funny but this wasnt their best.... however, i did find that big black guy funny. after he slept with the guy after doing E, we see him in the wheel chair rolling out.

I just watched: "Stigmata".... not very scary but I enjoyed the plot and it had a few eerie scenes. 8/10

Indiana Jones- Temple of Doom

I caught a part of The Last Crusade on Sci-fi yesterday and felt like watching them again.

ShankS 02-21-2005 02:25 PM

Irreversible.

AUSTIN316426808 02-21-2005 03:22 PM

Beverly Hills Cop 2

we got a note from the teacher today ...
he was STILL UPSET about Godzilla today .. the teacher asked him to draw a picture of what was bothering him and he drew a picture of the scene outside the Gardens when the mother godzilla was sniffing her dead babies ...

it really affected him ... he was sad because the parent was sad about losing her babies ..

thats a sweet sensitive little kid i have ..

(since you didnt see dead bodies of people he wasnt upset that Godzilla did tear half the city to shreds)

hellfire1 02-21-2005 05:22 PM

Just watched half of "Half a loaf of Kung Fu"...I'm not sure if it was renamed from the exact translation, but it's one of JackieChans earlyer films...comedy/action, very poorly dubbed...some oldskool Chan style improvisational techniques, and one hell of a wierd dream sequence.

newb 02-22-2005 06:14 AM

Talk about true horror.....last night I watched American Idol.

Once in a while I have to let the wife watch "her shows".

42ndStreetFreak 02-22-2005 06:14 AM

D'Amato's "Porno Holocaust" has just had a DVD release, not seen it but it is meant to be very bad. Failing as a decent porno and as a horror film.

"Erotic Nights of the Living Dead" is meant to be better...if that actually means much where old Joe D is concerned!

Deliverance

I've seen bit and pieces of it before but this was my first time watching the whole thing without interruption and I thought it was really good, it was suspenseful and humorous.

Vodstok 02-22-2005 12:39 PM

Deliverance has some SCARY moments.

I have also heard from someone who is sadly familiar situation that Ned Beaty's performance was dead-on accurate.

IDrinkYourBlood 02-22-2005 12:42 PM

The Crow. And tonight it shall be The Crow: Salvation.
Deliverance was on TV last Saturday, Its an allright film. But remember if you ever hear banjo music in the woods....run.......run for your life.

I used to live in the woods and I used to hear banjos all the time. I'm still here alive and well and most importantly I've never had to squeal like a pig.

I obviously can't be sure but I might've been scared by it if I didn't know who it was.

lol,not exactly.

my Grandfather's closest neighbor is a guy about his age that lives a half a mile away but you could still hear the banjo since it was quite and there was an echo.
