But this time, they've stumbled upon something truly extraordinary—something otherworldly, unlike anything they've ever encountered.

The series is directed by Tac Miyamoto, a filmmaker who first attracted attention in the early 2000s as a remarkable talent in the Japanese science fiction world. He quickly investigates and gets pulled into the dumpster himself. Soon, he's attacked by all manner of trash, realizing the dumpster is a literal, never-ending void.
