Very sorry to hear about this...such an exceptional voice and RAINDROPS KEEP FALLIN' ON MY HEAD is a long time favorite album.

Got to see him three times in the last few years and good every time.

Sadly, things can only get worse with so many favorites in that age range::sad::

Sad to hear about Robby Steinhardt! I'm a big Kansas fan.

Getting to listen to the first nine Kansas albums was a real treat, especially Leftoverture and Point of Know Return. He wasn't a great violinist nor singer but he was a good counter co-lead and harmonizing vocalist to Kansas' lead singer Steve Walsh.

Here's a song with Robby singing most of the lead and playing a lot of fine violin. Song written by Kerry Livgren the lead guitarist.

Sorry to hear about your uncle Tom! I have an uncle Tom too, lives in TX, who I haven't seen in about 8 years.

My boy Crixus.

18th August, 2021.
11 years old - He had a good run.
Lymphoma.
Fairly quick decline, though not painful.
When he was diagnosed, he got visits, pats and walkies from all the people he loved, and all the people food and treats in the world before he became symptomatic.

First dog myself and Spal ever had all the way from puppyhood through to the end.
I am feeling a different level of pain and emptiness than I have ever before.

He was, in every way like our "trainee child" and he ended up being an amazing, tolerant, and gentle big brother to River (who is smashed by this) - I thanked him for this, in one of our recent talks.

I love animals...I remember all of mine...and there's just this inescapable fact that when they leave, some of us goes with them...they make our lives so much more worthwhile though.

Give your dogs and cats and whatever elses, some love and hugs.

I'm so sorry, cheebs. You know I know how you feel. Sending you, Spal, and River so much love.

Good looking dog. What kind was he?

Sorry for your loss. We had our black lab from 1yr till he was 13, died when I was in HS. He kinda liked it when I would entice him with a second tennis ball when he was lying down enjoying one of his own. When he leaned for the one I moved near him, I'd take the one he had, showing him both and him discovering he had none now. I always thought he'd eventually decide to ignore the new ball... but that wouldn't have been any fun for us. ::smile::
