Jay is also in Dogma, Jay and Silent Bob Strike Back, Mallrats, Chasing Amy, Scream 3, and I think even an episode of Degrassi High (although I could be wrong). So not paying attention to Clerks (or the sequel for that matter) is no excuse. :p

I've seen him in stuff, I just didn't pay attention to Clerks. I like his role in Scream 3. "It's connie fucking chung!" And when he gets his face ripped in Feast.
