Lord of Illusions

Really, really cool movie. Great visuals, a strange but absorbing plot, (mostly) fantastic actors...I loved it. Better than Hellraiser IMO.

Fright Night

I bought the DVD not so long ago, so I popped it in my player tonight. I still love it; even though it is clearly a product of the 80's, it still manages to grab me by the throat, so to speak.

I still love this movie.

Just saw my first Argento film Deep Red. Very impressive and well directed, funny, nice effects, and even creeped me out here and there. I'd say its more of a mystery than a horror movie, but its still great, i cant wait till i get suspiria in the mail!

Yep, hence why I said it was better than Hellraiser.

The Philidelphia Story.

A classic, it's impossible to say who the better actor in this film is: Mr. Stewart or Mr. Grant.

That's blasphemy, Bruce Campbell can make any ''turd'' worth watching.

heebiejeebies 07-22-2006 08:46 AM

MST3K - Girl in Gold Boots
MST3K - Overdrawn at the Memory Bank
Shattered Glass (Hayden Christensen in a non-Star Wars role)
The Warriors (Can you dig it?)

Started watching the SciFi mini-series The Triangle. It's actually pretty good...so far. There's still plenty of time to screw it up.:)

I reckon that's from "Altered States", but does look a lot like that lumpy twin in Basket Case.

I loved it. Going to see Lady in the Water tomorrow and I might catch it again afterwards.

The Mothman 07-22-2006 04:36 PM

saw Freaks. not much of a horror movie as much as it is kinda like a day in the life of a circus freak. the parts that were meant to be scary were very well done however,

Not Another Teen Movie. Dumb fun. Pretty entertaining.

AUSTIN316426808 07-22-2006 07:10 PM

When Elias is telling Randal about the....uh, damn I forgot already, fluffy pants or puffy pants, somthing like that.

That really stands out because of the absolute absurdity, but to tell you the truth, I can't really pick any one thing about it that I liked more than everything else.

Edit- I remember now, it was pillow pants.

Honestly I don't know.I own the unrated version and saw LOTD at the theater and I really can't spot much differance.

But it's unrated so I assume it's somehow gorier......somehow.

Cemetary Man

I think I let the hype over this title get to me, because I was expecting something great, rather than the muddled, incoherent mess I saw. I didn't think that it was a bad film, it just made very little sense to me. Maybe that was the point, I'm not sure. Not very impressive overall, and I don't think I'd be recommending this one. Overall: 4/10
