Justice League.
Bit rushed. I don't feel its as deserving of the criticism it's getting, I mean it was ok?
Superface was stupid. You'd think a fake moustache in the other film would have been an easier fix.
Anyways, yeah it was alright.

Great opening scene but the teen angst/comic relief is overdone a bit but once shit gets going its all gravy. The best way to describe it is like a cross between Don't Breathe and The Loved Ones.

Don't let the corny poster fool you,

Pretty damn good actually. Had kind of a “Saw” twist at the end. The writer/directors best movie since Saw.

The Black Panther (2018)
6/10

It was quite a letdown for me... maybe my experience was hurt by my high expectations, hearing of good media company reviews. If I had listened to a competent friend, who said it was alright, my expectations would have been more in-line. I thought the film was technically competent, but the story never seemed to take any bold or innovative directions. It stayed very tepid.

100 bloody acres aka Tucker and Dale vs the city slickers.

Fun ride and good for a few laughs, so no reason to complain there.

Bad Samaritan , 2018. 6/10

I really wanted to see this film but it was very underwhelming. There was some here and there brutality that was nice to see{ a shovel beating to the face} but mostly redikkulus set ups and was not impressed with the crazy psychopath, I could do better.

BlacKKKlansman 9/10

This was such a great movie! I wasn't sure what to expect going into it and was afraid it would just be more racist propaganda like Spike Lee's other movies like Summer of Sam, Malcolm X, Girl 6, etc.but it was surprisingly well written and while it was obviously made to have white people look as the more aggressive of the two races, the message is to live as equals and to forget about the past and get over yourselves and just move forward . The movie had a great cast aside from just Denzel Washington. Adam Driver, who plays kylo Ren in the newer Star Wars movies did an amazing job and Topher Grace who played Eric Forman on that 70 show played the grand wizard of the KKK which in itself was pretty hilarious. I highly recommend this movie for anyone whether if you are black or white because if you ask me this movie is a hell of a lot more meaningful and has a much better message then something like Passion of the Christ which is basically made to guilt trip you while this movie is just made two show you exactly how bad racism is and what it can do to people and their families. This movie showed me that I have been holding such hatred in my heart for so long for so many wrong reasons. Watching this makes me want to be a better person.

Not a bad story, definitely wasn't expecting the twist. The acting could have been better. I expected more from Lizzy Caplan.

Bram Stoker's Dracula

I saw Bram Stoker's Dracula on cable last night. Depending on the policy of the particular channel, you get either the scene with bare breasts on the vampires or the scene with the breasts decently covered up. I guess Coppola shot two versions the scene, because he expected to be able to show the movie on tv.

Hey! this program put a red line underneath it when I typed TV lower case. In my day, both versions were correct.

Now, I saw Bram Stoker's Dracula in the movie theater when it first came out, and I noticed lots of families with small children in the audience. I thought "Apparently, they don't know what an R rating means, or they don't mind their kids seeing nudity and tons of gore."

Hee hee! When the movie came out, some reviewers gushed over how faithful it was to the book, showing that they had not read the book.

Modern keyboards are too damn crowded in the upper right hand corner! When I try to hit the backspace key, I get ====.

I really want to see that film. It looks great and such an interesting story.

I don't mean to nitpick but it's John David Washington, not Denzel

I really liked that movie and it was the first zombie movie that I ever watched. I actually think that the lack of gore in this one worked best because it gave it a kind of realism. I think some zombie movies tend to be unrealistic with the amount of blood and guts that they use.

That would be weird to take young kids to see that.

I never read the book, and just assumed the Coppola film was close to the book. How was the film different than the book?
