I really enjoyed it. Not as good as the first one, but still very good. There was one thing that pissed me off majorly, but considering the majority probably havent seen it yet, I wont go into that. Worth seeing in theatres.

Stewie Griffin movie, I thought it was funny, not really a movie but three episodes that ran into each other.

I love going into a film with absolutly no expectations. Id never even heared of this one until my dad said he rented it, but I thought it was really great. I'll say no more, except that I highly recomend it, and I also recomend knowing as little as possible about it before hand:)

I think the first one is a great movie, but I could care less if I ever watched it again. Some of my friends were completly obsessed when it first came out on DVD, so I would up watching it WAY more often than I would have liked (at least 10 times within a month or so) and I soon grew to dispise it. Today I can apreciate it as being a very enjoyable movie, but I never really want to watch it again for awhile.

EDIT- For the record, you have to admit Capt. Jack kicks ass. One of Depp's best performances, no matter how much I hated the movie I never grew tired of him.

..Depp is nearly always good (some exceptions of course)...but to me "Pirates of the Caribbean" just didnt feel right...dont remember much of it now cause I only saw it once at the cinema...the only thing I remember was me asking myself: what was all the buzz about ?

Sick_As_Fuck 07-08-2006 09:47 PM

40 Year Old Virgin - Pretty damn funny.

Teen Wolf ..

god this movie hasnt aged well ... its horrible to watch now

PR3SSUR3 07-09-2006 05:30 PM

Skeleton Key - unimpressive, with few shocks (besides some mechanical copouts) and a very contrived plot. The 'twist' revelations came far to late to save it.

Sick_As_Fuck 07-09-2006 05:45 PM

I figured out the "twist" like halfway through the movie. I still half-enjoyed it, though.

Superman '78

I enjoyed it, even though Im not a big fan of Superman. Looking forward to getting out to see the new one.

EDIT- Now Im off to watch Event Horizon for the first time. I really hope my expectations dont let me down on this one.

Final Destination 3
Well, it's fairly formulaic, and I expected no less. The entire thing has become an equation, fill in the blanks with some random integers, and boom... you have a new movie. Like the others before it, good kills and good twists. I was glad the ending kicked in something fresh. Bonus points for the ending.

Gripes,
The effcts in the opening coaster scene. VERY green screen, like... honestly, VERY. The ending (won't spoil) used MUCH better effects, as did the rest of the movie.

Overall, I enjoyed it. So I'd say thumbs up in my case. Nothing special, but hey, it entertains.

Miss Olivia 07-10-2006 12:06 AM

I just watched Lord Of War with Nicholas Cage. I don't usually care too much for Nick Cage movies, but this one was pretty good. The story was gripping, and the ending is completely different than what I was expecting. It's definitely worth a watch.

Kiss Kiss Bang Bang

This was better than I expected from a Robert Downey Jr. flick. It was actually a pretty nice blend of dark comedy and action. The narration was a bit annoying but a great supporting cast & script overshadow it. All in all, I was pleasently surprised...

B-

H.P. Lovecraft's Necronmicon: Book of the Dead

This movie was essentially 3 short stories rolled into one film. It was decent, but not great. 2 of the stories were pretty cool, 1 was less cool. The budget and average acting left something to be desired but all in all, not terrible...

"Irreversible" 5/10

Maybe the most cruel and unpleasant movie iīve ever watched. Canīt say that i enjoyed it.

The danish tagline, "No one stays the same" couldnīt be more true. Iīm still in some kind of shock...

Though, i must admit that the fire extinguisher scene was amazingly well done.

"Collateral" 8/10

Now THIS is much more pleasant viewing.

I love it when famous actors plays unlikable characters.

Tom Cruise own this movie from beginning to end.

"Marathon Man" 8/10

Iīve only got 1 beef with this one.

Dustin loses his brother and girlfriend and in the end just leaves the briefcase full of diamonds to continue his poor life persuing his life long goal of becomming a marathon runner. WHAT THE FUCK KINDA ENDING IS THAT??!!!!

DAMMIT!!! Iīm only on my second day.:(

tarcher80 07-10-2006 05:56 AM

high tension - the first part of this movie was excellent, but the later part dragged a little, i figured out the twist b/f it happened and what a twist! 7/10

the hills have eyes (the remake) - i guess i shouldn't have read the reviews and descriptions b/f watching the movie b/c i was a little let down. i was expecting much more "shock cinema." still it was enjoyable from start to finish, w/ a great series towards the end (when the asshole stepson comes for his baby). 7.5/10

The_Return 07-10-2006 06:20 AM

Event Horizon

Damn good movie, I really enjoyed it.
