Wow!! I just found out that Jonathan Brandis hang himself in 2003!!!??

That's so sad. He was quite talented. And the eyes, man. The eyes...

For shame.

The movie still sucks tho.

Hellboy Iron and Blood (or was it Blood and Iron?) Anyway, not a bad animated translation of the character, just something to kill time while waiting for the wife to get off work so we can start a bonfire.

Holy shit, fortunado, I was almost there!

I'm alwaaays at the Music Box Theatre, but being away at college hindered my ability to go to some of the best events this year (Music Box Massacre, Sci-Fi Marathon, etc.).

I've had some of my greatest silver screen moments there- seeing The Day the Earth Stood Still and then Patricia Neal in person, seeing Inland Empire and then David Lynch in person, seeing Rope and then getting Farley Granger's autograph. What a fantastic theatre.

ahh, yes. it was such a great time.
the music box is definitely an incredibly incredible place.
i missed the inland empire premier! argh, i was so pissed.
still am, actually.

The Darjeeling limited

Wes Anderson in India. That's basicly what it was. I'd like to see him make a movie with an entire new cast, see what he comes up with. This was still an enjoyable film, but another movie in this vain may be stretching it. His next movie is set to be an animation of a Rohl Dahl novel, which may shake it up a bit.

6/10

Indiana Jones: KOTCS
As good as I expected and hoped it to be. A bit cheesy at parts but hey...its and Indiana Jones flick. Don't much care for Shia Labeouf but I managed to get past his presence. I would probably rank it 3rd out of the four, Temple of Doom IMO being the worst.

The Cave:
Originally saw this in the theater and wasn't impressed but my wife likes it so we own it and I gave it another viewing. The creatures and filming location are pretty awesome but other then that it is pretty predictable and cliche.
