I actually saw Steve Martin do a live show back when he was still doing stand-up. The show was hilarious. Really funny, creative guy.

i've never seen russel brand before that clip - but i'd have to say he's heads and tails above the other.

he leans towards the cerebral too which is a nice clash with how he looks
